We went to the St. Patrick's Day parade in Rochester. It was freezing outside! But, we powered through in our green attire to enjoy a bit of it.

For my family's "winter" birthdays we had an ice skating party! Believe it or not, when we used to go skating as a family, everyone would skate. And I mean everyone...even Grandma and Grandpa! This year, there were a lot of observers. But, it was still fun! Colin had a ball, especially skating with his two hockey heroes, Papa and Uncle Chris.

Birthday Extravaganza.

My lovely mom turned 60 this year! You wouldn't know it, right? We had a fun "girls" dinner out to celebrate, and then she came back to my house for a sleepover, birthday breakfast, and shopping spree. Then, my dad and brother joined us for a nice breakfast out the next morning. I think her birthday was pretty special...just like her!

Christmas is Here.

Christmas day is finally here! We spent a very quiet, late morning opening up presents with our little family. This year Colin asked for a nerf gun, hot wheels, darth vadar slippers and a teddy bear. Santa delivered!...with a few extra things because he was a very good boy this year.

 Then, Kevin's Aunt Mary came for a quick visit, along with Grandpa Jim and Uncle Tim. Yay for more visitors!

Christmas Cheer.

So, unbeknownst to me, my camera was on the wrong setting for most of our Christmas get-togethers. I'm so bummed! But the quality of the photos definitely doesn't match up to the awesome times we had with family. 

First, we got to host a (pre) Christmas dinner at OUR house! I was so excited to finally have my parents and brother over for a holiday. 

This definitely had to be the highlight of our...ehem...the boys day. A remote control helicopter! It was a gift to Colin, but I think Kevin, Chris and my Dad had just as much fun playing with it.

On Christmas Eve, We went to Grandma Patty's house for a fun, old-fashoned family Christmas!
