NBC5 News airs at these times: Weekdays from 5:30am to 7am, 5pm, 6pm to 7:30pm, and 11pm, and Weekends at 6pm and 11pm (Note that NBC Sports coverage will sometimes affect weekend early newscast airtimes.)
You can receive KOBI-TV / KOTI-TV channels, and out digital subchannels, using an over-the-air antenna. Find out more, including recommended antennas, here.
KOBI-TV and KOTI-TV offers two digital subchannels. Over-the-air viewers can receive these channels from KOBI-TV on 5.2 and 5.3, and from KOTI-TV on 2.2 and 2.3 If you watch KOBI-TV or KOTI-TV over-the-air with an antenna, you may need to re-scan your television after we make this change. To re-scan your television (or converter box), click the “Menu” button on your remote control, then select the “Channel Scan” or “Auto Program” option. It may take your TV several minutes to scan for all of the channels that available in your area. On 5.2 and 2.2 we offer COZI and on 5.3 and 2.3 Quest.
Update 11/03/25: We have added ShopLC on 5.4 and 2.4 If you watch us over-the-air you can add this channel by rescanning.
