Rusty vs. "The potty"!

WE'RE FINALLY POTTY TRAINED! Oh boy, this has been a bit of a process with this boy, but in (November 2011) we finally did it! And he's only made 1 mistake since! He is the funniest kid...once he sets his mind to something, anythings possible. He absolutely refused to even look at the toilet for months, and then one day his diaper was buggin him, so I took it off, and next thing I know, he was standing in by the toilet! With the help of a bubblegum machine, anything is possible...haha. He was always terrified (and kinda still is) to flush the toilet (IT"S TOO LOUD!!) But, he's a trooper, and we love big boy trousers!

We decided to put Rusty Kruiz into preschool this year, so he can get even smarter than he already is! (We have the smartest kids EVER!) It has been so good for him to get out and play with other kids and he is doing awesome. We love teacher Celeste, and he really is learning so much!

Christmas 2010

Christmas day was just as fabulous as it has always been in years past. The kids are so much fun to watch! I'm so thankful for these special days to help us remeber what life is all about. The gifts are fun, (and I'll be the first to admit I have a shopping problem!) but it's really all about the time you get to spend with the ones you love and to remember the birth of our savior. Thanks to all our Family for making it so special, and I'm so glad we get to "rest" for 10 or so months before we do it all over again!!! ;)

Christmas Eve 2010

For Christmas Eve this year, we had our own little party at our house! We invited Jamie and Dylan up, in place of my mom usually having us, but mom and dad were in Hawaii with Andy, Terrin and Isabelle over Christmas! (jealous) Anyway, we had a great night, filled with food, Just Dance 2, presents, and christmas stories.... Love my cutest kids, their excitement on Christmas Eve is so thrilling, and it brings back so many great memories of being a child! :) Dax was just a pile of nerves by the end of the night, how fun to be a kid on christmas eve! Rusty kept sayin "santa comin, bring us presents" All night long! Reagan said she heard Santa moving around the presents cause she couldn't sleep! What a good holiday it was this year, thanks for hanging out Jamie & Dylan.

Park City Christmas!

We had a awesome get together at The Canyons in park city this year with my family. Thanks Mom and Dad for a great weekend getaway, filled with food, shopping, presents, games and FAMILY! Love being with all my favorite people, and enjoyed spending time with my mom and dad before they went and spent Christmas in Hawaii with Andy & Terrin.

Kids had so much fun spending 2 nights at the hotel, hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa! What spoiled kiddos...filled with christmas excitement! :)

Good Christmas weekend!

Rusty, figured out how to move the chairs together, so he thinks he can climb up on the counter whenever he wants!
His potty, that he doesn't really use, but thinks its fun to sit on! (what a stinker....he really wants nothing to do with the whole "potty in the toilet" thing)

Well, I decided that it's been awhile since I've done an update on our little guy.... He is soooo a 2 year old! ;) 2 yrs, 4 mos to be exact, and he keeps us on our heels! Over the last 2 months he has exploded in talking....it's so entertaining....he can say anything we can now (but it sounds so much cuter!) A few of my favorites: (and his) "Where Daddy go?" This is one we hear ALL DAY, and I say..."Daddy's working", to his reply"Oh man...shoot...Daddy paintin walls huh" :) So cute, he LOVES papa Kimber and Daddy, and I'm sure he'd already be part of the painting team if he had his choice! He now says "Bye, lub you" anytime anyone leaves, super cute. He talks Daxton's ear off, always wanting to "hide Dax" and "play trains Dax", "fight dax" (wrestle or play swords). Thank goodness for brothers :), I remind Dax daily how thankful I am for him helping with Rusty, cause Rusty soooo needs him for burning energy reasons! lol

He's getting a little naughty about taking naps everyday though...soooo not looking forward to that ending, cause he REALLY needs them still! (as does mommy)

He LOVES trains....like seriously, he'd probably live in one if he could! We walk around the house "choo chooing" all day! Also any kind of truck and trailer "hook it up!" Dump trucks, "it dumps dirt" Tractors "cutting the hay". He loves horses, cows, and puppies! "Wanna ride horse mommy", sooo we'll see if that actually happens one day! I've never been much of a cowgirl, we were hoping he'd wanna ride the Harley, but he's not so set on that yet. :)

He's eating so much better than he used to, but still his faves are pizza, french fries, waffles, chips, apples, grapes, cereal and pop tarts! And you better not break a cookie or poptart before he takes the first bite, or he throws a fit and refuses to eat it! (what a kid)

He loves to "vaccum mommy", "clean it good!" He calls himself "Kruiz" which is so cute, and we owe alot of his learning and funniness to his "ma-ma Kathie"....she watches him for us while we work , and he loves her so much. They have so much fun together! His fav shows lately have been 1 - Max and Ruby! Oh my...we have so many episodes of max and ruby on our DVR, and have bought dvd's just to keep the little guy happy, and us from having EVERY episode memorized! (joke between us and the older kids) 2 - Toy Story, he has loved all 3 movies! And Buzz Lightyear is his fav...Toy story 3 was his first movie theater experience, and he loved it! 3 - Polar Express this last few weeks... (of course, it has a train!!!)

He is the light of our lives, and so happy we have him to keep us on our toes! Wish he wouldn't keep growing up so fast!
