After the insincere celebration for HL, then the oscar-winning one for YY, last fri we had a celebration for CP joe which - strictly speaking - was more like a 3er gathering. Not all were present though! We missed SL and WH. Looking forward to holiday 3er trip[s] with full attendance, if there is any. Haha.

Anyway, this was the only quality photo that i have taken that evening.


Thai green curry baked rice - really has its unique taste [the curry] and i like!


Sticky Chewy Chocolate - wohoo really really satisfy my carve for shokolat.

车

小时候的我 很喜欢一家人晚上坐着爸爸的车
在马路上 在回家的路上 很踏实
一家人就暖暖地包在车子的钢铁骨架里
刮风下雨 我最担心的也只是
雨刷永远刷不到的挡风镜的鲸鱼形部分
还有车窗上因为路灯的照射而变成斑点豹的雨水

有时出外吃晚餐
有时去emporium[小时爸妈对shopping centre的统称]
有时去公园、海边
有时出远门 走快速公路

我们四个小瓜坐在后面
需要一前一后的坐
多数都是大的外面
小的坐里面
还会玩起游戏
和后面车里的人打招呼
向旁边车辆吐舌头 呵呵

妈说过 只有坐老爸驾的车
她才不会在车子转弯时紧握车扶手
其他人[包括我们兄弟] 她就会不时举高左手
寻找安全感 哈哈
说真的 老爸的驾驶技术不是盖的
我们四个[包括刚刚考undang的妹子]
都是他调教出来的

后来后来
我们有驾照了 会驾车了
有时会载弟妹上学
有时载妈去买菜去打包早餐
有时载爸去邮政局还水电费
但是 全家出去的时候
方向盘还是有老爸来掌舵的

四兄妹长大了 后面越来越挤 哈哈
我们的脚又很长 [幸好不是手]
远程路途还真的考验耐力
虽然酱 却很想念
全家一起挤在一辆车里的感觉

自从老哥上KL念书[到现在在Cardiff]
自从我来新到NJ,NTU上课
印象中 好久好久 没有全家出动了
老哥看到不懂会不会更想家 :P

老爸来拉庆接我 我驾车回家
胜开车和老爸去寄表格、买东西

Tetamu yang tak terundang

Dua minggu lalu, Sabtu Jam 3 pagi
Aku tidur lena atas katilku. Malam sebelumnya terlalu penat menaip laporan dan membuat kajian untuk projek sekolahku. Kedudukan katilku agak berbeza jika dibandingkan dengan katil di bilik2 lain dalam blok asramaku. Aku telah mengubah posisinya spy kakiku tidak menghala ke arah pintu asuk apabila aku tidur. Mengikut kepercayaan Cina, hanya mayat yang 'tidur' dalam posisi sebegini.

Jam 5:30 pagi
Rakan sebilikku terjaga. Rasa pelik seakan2 sesuatu sedang mengganggunya. Jarang baginya untuk terjaga pada awal pagi. Mengikut katanya, dia ternampak seorang berdiri di tepi katilku, bersebelahan dengan pintu bilik kami. Agak2nya 'orang' tu ialah aku. "Dia ni nak buat ape kat waktu sekarang?" fikirnya.

Tetapi sebelum dia sempat memanggil namaku, matanya menyemak ke arah katilku dan rupa2nya aku masih tidur lena atas katil. Siapa pula yang berdiri di bilik kami sekarang? O.0 Melihat dengan lebih teliti, 'orang' tu suatu bayang hitam yang menyerupai wanita bertudung, memegang sesuatu menyerupai bayi. Dengan perlahan, benda itu membengkokkan badannya menghampiriku.

Rakan sebilikku bukannya main terkejut dan takut. Sambil memejam mata, dia melafaz doa supaya benda tu akan meninggalkan bilik kami serta-merta. Selepas beberapa minit, 'tetamu' kita hilang daripada penglihatan.

Ini hanyalah pertemuan yang pertama.

回到了这久违的WestMall
BK还是那么香
办完公事 就钻进NLB了

说来可笑 在AntTeaYou酱久
我从来没有browse过/借过图书馆里的一本书
但这次 我一口气看完了五本书半个单元
哈哈 不简单咧

第一本 看的是关于Photoshop的
看了领悟不少 原来有酱多花招的
如果可以借回家
边看边学边用就好了

第二本[应该说是单元]是自己带的
风险及保险原则
半个单元后我就放弃了

第三本 金田一少年事件簿[架上的唯一一本]
漫画！ 好久没有看打印出来的漫画了
都是在看"软"的
虽然只剩下上册 但还是 爽

第四第五第六本 烤焦面包系列 Kogepan
很有趣 冷爆笑的日本小漫画
主角是不小心被烤焦了的豆沙面包
头上永远有一团焦气
心情不好会借奶消愁
脸部表情永远是酱 o_o
还有其他爆笑面包人物
人生小启示也不少



看了这些 够钟了
飞到丹戎巴戈会朋友
啊 来到这伤感之地
这次目的地是新加坡大会堂
生平第一次看/听华乐演奏会



一进去整个人软掉
重游SYF的场地真的感触良多
演奏厅外的编钟 二楼的大鼓
里面的红座位 舞台 椅子 谱架
啊 啊 啊



华乐 感觉好复杂 我这辈子不可能弄懂
吹弹拉打拨 指挥厉害到爆
歌我都不熟悉 我是听流行歌的小孩
只听过两首: 闯将令 菊花台
最喜欢 打击合奏 老虎磨牙
用钹来模拟森林冷风过境 帅！

整晚都在听节拍 用耳朵找声部
看打击跑来跑去
看二胡、低音拉弦动作
听唢呐吹喇叭 听笛子小鸟叫
看琵琶中阮古筝的快指神功
还有扬琴的蜻蜓点水 哈哈
整场我没有一点睡意
[因为通常听太有格调的演奏会 周公会来约我]
再爽


过后去老巴刹吃夜宵

回到房间 一点多
就追看大选成绩到四点

WJ being artsy fartsy

Last Sat had a bit of free time before NUS harmonica concert 08 so went into the NUS museum to see see. Haha you never know wj can be so artsy fartsy leh. Erm but i didnt really read through all the titles and descriptions of the artworks there.. abit lazy. and to put it simply. i just like to take photos lah.

These Maquettes of Wealth and Contentment is by the late local artist Dr. Ng Eng Teng. Pretty cool. There is a big version of the maquettes outside UCC hall and the two that i have taken in the photos above are the smaller version in the museum.



and i came across this machine/meter thing that i dont know what's the use of it. it's put at almost every corner of the museum
