Beach

We took a drive up to Wisconsin yesterday.

It was very beautiful.

We stopped at Lake Michigan and flew kites on the beach.

Tooth Fairy Comes Tonight!

Well it sure didn't take long.

He worked that tooth all day and all night last night.

Finally, this morning it came out.

He couldn't hold still for the picture.

He was jumping up and down.

The tooth next to it is loose now.

I don't think he can wait to get that one out as well.

Skyler

I love my Skyler.

He is so excited.

Today he found his first loose tooth.

He was eating an apple, and went running to his dad,

"DAD! There is something wrong with my tooth!"

He explained how things worked with loosing teeth and the Tooth Fairy.

Now he can't wait to get it out. He wont stop wiggling it. I'm sure it will be gone soon.

Too bad the Tooth Fairy left all her "special" tooth fairy money in St. George.

Mother's Day

We went into the city for Mother's Day.

We went to Jackson Park, Navy Pier and just sight seeing.

I'm So Proud!

Charles has been given a promotion.
He is now the guy in charge.
He will be over three or four guys.
His boss gave him this watch to say,
"thank you for all your good work."
It is a very nice Fossil, with the Platinum company logo on it.
(Yes, it really was 12:15 at night!)

Gray's Anatomy

Who here watched the 100 episode of Gray's Anatomy???

I did, I did!


Do you know what happens at my house when mom gets sucked into the TV?


Bad things. That's what happens.


The kids were coloring with Color Wonder Markers. These markers only work on special paper.


I think to myself,


"Ok, I'm safe for a little while. Lets watch mommies show. They can't hurt anything, right?"


I get all settled and sucked into the show, when Skyler starts yelling,


"MOM! Saydie colored on me!"


I reply, "Those markers don't color on skin."


"She's not using those ones! She has a black one!"


Oops!


Guess mommy should have checked better. There was the big black Sharpie we had used to mark boxes for the move.


When I asked Saydie why she colored with it, she said,


"It makes me look awesome."

Rain

All it does is RAIN!
We had a terrific thunderstorm yesterday evening. The kids really liked seeing the lightning. We did have a few days of sunshine, but we are now back to rain.
The wind, from the rain storm, blew all the flowers off the trees. It looks like winter again. Some of the trees are starting to have leaves, so it's not too bad.
The kids are having fun watching spring again. They love all the new animals and bugs they get to see.
Also: I wanted to tell everyone,
- the best time to visit will be the first weeks in June. Everything has free days that week. Plus airfare is cheaper then, too. If anyone wants to come they are more then welcome.
We love you all.

Went for a walk tonight and took pictures of all the birds. Charles wants me to put some of them on here for the all the men.

Eyes Westward

The place where more than 70,000 Mormons started their journey west.

I think it was Saydie's favorite part of the whole day.

They had a real civil war battle going on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I went down to breakfast the first morning and was quite surprised to see soldiers and ladies in big dresses!
