Grrr, it didn't work! Stupid wood chuck scared it away.

Playing Around

We went to an iron museum the other day. The things that Skyler and Saydie are sitting on are bullets. They had lots of cool stuff--Like the giant gear behind the giant bullets. I didn't have the camera with me, so these are the only pictures I have. They are not very good--they are from my phone.

Jersey Shore

We went to the Jersey shore over the weekend. It was a perfect day for the beach. The whole way there, Skyler was very worried about crabs. He went on and on,
"But Dad, what if a crab bites my toes?!?!"
We would reply,
"Skyler, there are NO crabs at the beach! You will be just fine."
About five minutes after we got there, guess what Skyler found...a crab.
He ended up catching three in all; a baby that got away, a very pretty white one (it died soon after the kids got it), and one that ended up coming home with us. I'm not sure how long it's going to live. We do not have salt water or food for it--Although, the kids have been feeding it Doritos and Lucky Charms.
In all, the day went great. Charles played volleyball and the kids and I hit the waves. Everyone but Skyler and I got sunburned--Yeah for the brown-eyed people! I think the fact that the kids coated themselves in sand may have helped them out. Charles isn't too bad, just the tops of his feet and shoulders are burned. As for the awesome brown-eyed people, we now have an awesome brown tan to match our eyes.



I didn't have a lot of time--school started today--so the slide isn't great.
