Easily Impressed

How cool is this...
I am blogging while driving in the car (we are working in DC today). Charles got a new phone for Christmas but I think I might keep it for me. I can access my school and it even has Microsoft word, Excell, and PP on it. This is not a new thing, but it is new to me. I am easily impressed. I think it is so cool.

So excited to open presents and loving every one of them.

Thanks to all for making this a great Christmas. It has been one of the best. The only things missing were all of you. We miss and love you all.

Rockefeller Center

Standing in front of the ice skating rink. There was a bit of a breeze and it made it so cold.

The Channel Gardens. The angels were very beautiful.

The kids were so tired, they fell right to sleep the minute we got in the car.

I love this picture of Saydie.
This was her first look at Times Square. She just stood there staring, classic.

Continued....

The marching bands were so loud you could feel every beat.
The sound vibrated off the buildings. It was really cool.
Image
There were waves and waves of dance teams and cheerleaders.
They even had jump ropers, thousands of jump ropers, all in sync.

Starting to make our way out of the crowd.
We were in the front, it took a lot of pushing and shoving to get out of that crowd.

We were right across from Carnegie Hall.
Skyler made sure nobody took our front row seats

Shout Yeah-Horray!!

We just got the call from the company AMP in NY, they accepted our bid! Starting tomorrow, Charles will take over the NY office. We are now running the Philadelphia office for Platinum and the New York office for AMP.
It is going to be a lot of work, (which we are very grateful for). I am so proud of my hubby.... :o)

The Parade: the drive there

We saw this really cool battle ship in the harbor just outside of Philly. It was raining so I couldn't get a very good picture of it.

The kids were so sick of being in the car. We left the house at 8:30am and got to the hotel in NYC around 6pm. Traffic was ridiculous to say the least. It was bumper to bumper for hours.Image

Image
Entering the Lincoln tunnel. We usually take the Holland tunnel or the George Washington Bridge. It was neat to go a different way. We had to wait in line for almost 20 minutes to get our turn to go through. Traffic was so slow going through, I started getting nervous. I just kept thinking about that movie...Daylight. I didn't want to be stuck in the tunnel under the river, LOL.
