and Emily (I had the camera so there are no pictures of me. This one didn't work so well, it was too dark,[we were on the Hershey ride] but I finangled it a little. This is as good as it gets.)

As a Junior Ranger, I Skyler/Saydie Kosmuch, promise to help perserve and protect the Statue of Liberty National Monument and other Nation Parks so that they can be enjoyed by future generation. I will do this by sharing what I learned today with others. I promise to continue to discover, explore, and learn about other National Parks and the National Park Service. I also promise to have fun being a National Park Service Junior Ranger.

Picture of the day!
Picture of the day goes to the burried car accross the parking lot.
All the cars got burried, but for some reason this one got really burried.
The poor person gave up on digging out.
It took charles a good hour to get the Yukon out. We didn't have a snow shovel yet, so he was using a lid from a storage tote. He got the back tires clear then gave up, started the car, gave it some gas, and just drove out instead of shoveling. We helped some of the neighbors get their cars out and now we are going to spend the day helping "dig out the ward".
(He he he, I had to crop the picture to edit out his butt crack. :o)
The path to get out of our house.
The kids think it's really great that the snow is pilled higher then they are tall.

Winter Wonderland...Well, Almost
I took picture throughout the day. Every two or three hours. People kept going out and trying to sweep the snow off of their cars. It didn't work very well, they still got burried.
The poor maintenance guys tried their best to keep the walks shoveled. As you can see they had quite a job to do.
You can kind of see the path they were trying to make.
