I love fair time. It is always so busy, but I really do enjoy it! This year was probably the busiest one, yet it was the most fun! This year fair started way early for me because I knew my kids would be showing in the horse show and I had a goal to find a cute show shirt for Hadlee as well as my niece Jordyn. I got on ebay like every day and I got really good buys on these two adorable shirts that sparkled!!!! The little cowgirls absolutely loved them. When I went to give the shirts to them at their grammy Tammy's they ran around in them for a whole hour:) Hunter was so excited to ride Peppy this year and he is really excited to do walk/trot next year! Hayden did an incredible job riding Peppy in the 9 and under Horsemanship class. He loped and even though Peppy does not like her right lead much, she did switch it and he rode well. What a pleased mom and dad he had as this was his first time ever in a class that he had to lope in.
My daughter absolutely LoVeS anything that moves! No seriously she loves riding the horses as long as we do not stop!!! She always loves RiDiNg on any kind of toy that she can make go, or a bike that she can move. Recently we went to a pizza joint that has all kinds of things to do for kids. It is good incentive to get our kids to eat dinner all gone and the reward is playing:) She got in this Flintstones car and totally had the time of her life. We just kept putting more and more coins in until we ran out. She screamed so bad when we were trying to pry her off of it!!! You think I would learn something. I went to a local store that has one of those moving horses in the foyer. Well I had a quarter and thought, why not she is being a pretty good girl today. And this will only take a second before I go in and do my shopping. Bad mistake-sure she had tons of fun while the thing was moving, but when it stopped, it was a whole lot of yelling and crying. I had to go back out to the car and get her to calm down before I could come back in and shop. Then I had to walk fast past the thing so she would not see and start all over again. She is my little pRiNcEsS, but sometimes she makes her mom crazy!!!!!!
This is what our Valley Easter Egg Hunt looked like!! Crazy !! The eggs were put out the day before and the kids had to dig for their eggs. It was one wild Easter this year! We loved having family out and our kids got to spend almost a whole week with cousins!!! Hope you all had a great Easter!!!! :)
