A week ago Sunday my new nephew, Paxton, was baptised. He did soooo good during the ceremony! Didn't cry at all when they put the water on his head...what a sweet little boy he is. Here are a few pictures afterwards

Rylee and I's road trip to Iowa

This past weekend, Rylee and I headed to Sioux City, Iowa to visit the Augustine's....Craig, Melissa & Alexys. Melissa and I grew up in Caldwell together. We were best friends then and continue to be....even though there have always been hundreds of miles separating us!! We still manage to keep in touch and see each other a few times a year. We just love getting our girls together. Some of you may remember that Alexys was the flower girl in our wedding, almost 5 years ago. She was 13 months old at the time and barely walking....man, how those years have flown by.


We got to Sioux City around 5:30pm on Friday evening. We did a little catching up before heading out to dinner. Mel and I are both HUGE fans of Mexican Food so of course we had to go to Carol's O'Kellys' for Mexican and margarita's!!! YUMMY!!!


After supper, we headed back to the house so the girls could play and we could visit. Here are some pictures of the girls!





For some reason, Rylee decided to wake up at 6:45am on Saturday morning...I was NOT happy with her! That is way too early to be up on a Saturday morning. Especially with the busy day we had planned!

MU and K-State were playing each other on Saturday afternoon the girls' were sporting their game-day gear!



We headed to the mall to try to get started on our Christmas shopping!! Rylee ended up falling asleep in the stroller shortly after we started shopping and slept for almost 2 hours!! She was ready to go when so woke up, that's for sure! The girls were so good while we were shopping that we decided to take them to the park for a little bit....unfortunately, we waited too long and it was pretty chilly. We didn't have coats for them so we only stayed for about 20 minutes. They enjoyed their time and Rylee was sure upset when it was time to leave. She threw a terrible fit!!




Once we got home, the girls were ready to play. Here is Alexys trying to show Rylee how to do a back bend....too cute!!

We had a GREAT time in Iowa with the Augustine's!! The weekend went by way too fast though! We look forward to the next time we get to see them!!

I'll leave you with one last thing. The girls decided to have a "dance party" on Saturday night. They really enjoyed signing and dancing to Sugar Land...especially the "OO OO" Song, which it what Rylee calls it! Enjoy!!!

Halloween Weekend

Rylee's Halloween fun began on Thursday morning with her party at school. Unfortunately it was at 9:30 so we were unable to attend it. She had tons of fun though!! I guess all day long she was saying HOP, HOP, HOP and hopping around like a bunny. Her teachers said it was so darn cute! I wish I could've seen it! She got lots of goodies at school but sure was worn out when she got home!

Friday afternoon, we had a little party at my work for all the little kid's! Rylee was very excited to go to mommy's work.....in fact, she was ready to put her costume on right after she woke up and said she was ready to go to work with me. She wasn't very happy to find out that it wasn't until later. Once she got her Halloween shirt on, she was good to go!! Here are a few pictures one of my co-workers took of Rylee.

After the party was over at work, we headed home. Rylee was super excited to get home because MeMe & PaPa were waiting for her!!! We took them out to dinner and then we just hung out and played the rest of the evening!

On Saturday, Ryan and my dad headed down to Concordia to the Hinck Farm, which is where Ryan deer hunts. He needed to check on a few things out there so I thought it would be fun for my dad to tag along!

With the boys gone, Rylee and I got to spend the day with my mom...aka MeMe!!

We headed out to Nebraska Furniture Mart cause I had a few things I wanted to look at. I want to get a sofa table for our entry way, a new computer desk and a Queen Bedroom set for our guest bedroom. I found everything I wanted but decided I shouldn't spend that much money without Ryan around so I took pictures of it all. Hopefully we can get out there sometime soon to purchase it all! After our trip to NFM, we enjoyed lunch at Sonic and then ran into Carters & Oshkosh.....as if Rylee needs anymore clothes!!! I did manage to find her a coat, couple of long sleeve t-shirts and some sweat pants! We were beat so we headed home to relax before the crazy evening began!!

After Rylee woke up from her nap, it was time to get our costume on. She was NOT happy at all about this! I think this being the 3rd day of having her costume on was enough!
