Baby news

i am now 36 weeks and 2 days! i had a doctors appointment on wednesday and he checked me to see how or if i was progressing.... well... i was dialated to a 2!! he then told me well if you go into labor now i will NOT stop it! holy cow! Labor??? now??? it was very shocking and well it kinda hit me, wow, at any given moment i could go into labor (which i know i probly wont for a while, but still!) as long as she waits until after the 6th then we will be ok! we are going to go to heber on the 4th-6th for my baby shower. and well everyone keeps joking around that i can bring kailynn to her own baby shower...
as for me i am very tired ALL of the time, i go pee every morning at 3am and 630am... weird i know. i am no longer working which is well very nice. i got to the point where i was sitting behind the counter most of my shift.


i am constantly sore below the belt, and feel like i cant walk anymore, but if i sit for too long something always goes numb or cramps up. and well my sleeping has become quite difficult. i am fine when i FINALLY get comfortable, but i have to wake up to turn over, because i have to sit up which takes some effort, the slowly move to the other side. lets just say it is no fun!
my fingers have gotten to the point where they are constantly swollen... oh funny story!!!!
so i was getting scared that if i kept my wedding ring on i wouldnt be able to get it off later in the pregnancy, so i took it off, and was like hey kalob, lets go to stage and see if they have a cubic zeconian (SP) ring thats cheap... so we go into the store, and i am looking around and i found a table that had some on it, but there werent very many, so i asked the guy that was working if they had any other rings, well this was his reply.... "no we dont have any others but hunny dont let him get off easy, make him get you a real diamond ring!!!!" hahaha i started to laugh and so did kalob and we both said "oh no, i/she has a real diamond wedding ring!" and then i told him that my fingers were just getting too swollen because of and i pointed at my tummy! he didnt say much after we said that... but i thought it was quite funny!! so wen i got home i put back on my wedding ring so that no one else would think that kalob just knocked me up! ha

well kalob kept telling me that he wasnt going to get me anything for mothers day because well hello you arent a mom yet!!!! so i had convinced myself not to care.... well on mothers day i woke up before him and went into the the front room to get some water, well wat do ya know, there was a jewlry box, a card, and a memory pillow ( i wanted a pillow to stick under my belly so i could sleep better) i was so completely shocked!!! i couldnt stop smiling, and then i read the card and i couldnt stop crying!!!! he totally made my day! he is such an amazing hubby, i love it wen he suprises me!!! oh and the jewelry box had a gorgeous necklace in it that had 2 hearts that were connected! i love him so much!! he is going to be such a good daddy!!!

So this is going to be a little update since my last post was in wat july??!!! the thing is that kalob and i did not have internet at our place, so i was using the computer at work to update this lovely blog. well i stopped working at that job, therefore i stopped my blog. so i apologize to all of my fans who just loved reading my blog.. ;) HA jk!!!

here are a few things that happened these last 10 months.....

~Kalob and I celebrated our year anniversary!!!
~Made a trip to Utah with my parents for Silas' baby blessing!!!
~Found out in October that we were going to be Mommy and Daddy!!!!
~were blessed with another nephew. clint and britt's baby-James!!!
~Celebrated Thanksgiving in Heber with my family, dev and steph and silas got to come as well!!
~Celebrated Christmas in Thatcher with Kalob's family!!!
~Found out that we were having a little GIRL!!!
~Kalob turned 23!
~I turned 20!!! (kalob is no longer married to a teenager! ;) )
~moved twice!!!!!!! (we have been married a year and 7 months and we have lived in 4 different places!!)
~Liam, kalob's sister's little boy turned a year old!!!
~Now i think you are pretty much caught up....

i am now 33 weeks pregnant, and am VERY anxious for this little girl to come!!! we decided that her name will be Kailynn Mae!!! i am gettin quite big, and VERY uncomfortable!! i am having a hard time sleeping at night, and my ciatic nerve kills me if i sit for too long or stand for too long.. so what do i do??!!! i am still working at blockbuster, my plan as of right now is to make it to the end of may, so we will see if i last :).

Kalob is loving his new job! he loves that he is working with his hands again, doing something that he can see the outcome for. and that he is making a difference... he loves and i love his schedule!!! he gets off around 4 everyday and he works monday through friday!! weekends and holidays off! i get to sleep with him EVERY night. he had been on graves for a whole YEAR!! believe me, it was not fun! he is so much more happy and that makes me so much more happy!!

Update

Silas is doing good. when they brought him home the test for jaundice was positive so he had to be put in a mini tanning bed for a couple of days. they were only able to take him out to feed him and to change him. this broke their hearts to see him in there helpless. but we are greatful that it was nothing serious. so for now he is healthy. he doesnt make any fuss unless he is hungry and he makes it very obvious that he is hungy, he definately knows where the goods are at! ;~)

i cant wait to see him in September!! i am going nuts not seeing him and not being able to hold him!! but like i said before the pictures are great for now! but that wont hold me over for long! hehe....

as for Kalob and i... we are doing great! we cant believe that it is already almost August! where has this year gone? i swear that last time i looked we were celebrating valentines day! and now it is August? but for it going by so fast it has been a wonderful year so far! it is crazy because i am starting to see things happening again here in the Gila Valley! i have lived here for over a year now and cant believe how much has happened in that year! kalob and i are getting ready to celebrate our year anniversary and have so much planned! it has truly been a blessing being able to be sealed for time and eternity to my best friend! we have been through the thick and the thin and are so grateful to have each other to go through it together!

the 24th of july was not much of a celebration for us. all of the festivities were in pima and so we just decided to hang out and have fun together and with his family all day. but i told Kalob that i did want to go watch the fireworks. so since the 4th of july fireworks didnt start until 9 i was figuring it would start the same time. well at 820 my sister in law that was already there texted me to tell me that they were starting so kalob hurried and got ready for work for that night and we were in the truck driving to pima which is about 10 minutes away. well as we were driving we started seeing the fireworks, and there were alot of them, so i jokingly told Kalob, "watch, that was the finale" as we were laughing we started searching for the rest of the fireworks, but i had been RIGHT! we saw the finale on the road, so we just turned around and went back to our home. so we enjoyed the finale... and the rest of the day that was so nice and relaxing!

Silas Austin Ellsworth

Silas decided to be welcome into this world at 3:07 pm on july 22nd at 9lbs 4oz 20.5 inches long!!!!!! this boy is devin through and through! he has the Anderson hands (which are HUGE!) and he has devins little cluff chin aka little butt chin ;~) he is so chunky! he is a very quiet and chill baby! he has been sleeping most of the time (he also got that from Dev! ;~) ) he is a healthy boy. the only problem was that his breathing was very fast because his blood was too thick. so they put him in the respiratory unit the rest of the day and night to fix the problem. they also gave him an iv and they had to prick him a couple times and he didnt budge or make a noise!! he got his good behavior from his Aunty Rachelle!! ha jk!! they said that this is a very common problem and is easily fixed. THANK GOODNESS!!!!

Devin called me a hour after the birth and he sounded so proud and excited!! you could just tell he was smiling ear to ear just by the way he sounded!! he will be an amazing daddy!! and he didnt faint during the delivery! he was so strong and even got to cut the embilical cord!! he was right by steph the whole time!

Steph had an amazing delivery! her water broke at 8am and she was already at a 4 and then a little later she was at an 8! and soon after she had the little big guy!! she was so strong! can you imagine pushing a 9 lb bowling ball out of you!! ha yeah amazing! she is doing good and is already being a wonderful mom!! i am so proud of her and cant wait to watch this little man grow! i love him already SO much!! it hurts that i cant see him and hold him right now or until september. and then only see him maybe twice a year! but thats ok!! as long as they know i love them and especially love the miracle that they brought into this world!

my parents as soon as they heard her water broke that morning took off to utah, the long 9 hour drive. they missed the birth by only a couple hours and are staying till sunday with them! LUCKY!! i cant believe my parents are grandparents!! ha they are too young to be grandparents! haha but they will be amazing!!!

Nephew number 2!!

As you all know my sister in law Stephanie is prego with her little boy!!! and guess what.... this morning at 8am her water broke!!! no news yet on how things are going but i am so excited! i am so sad tho that i am 12 hours away from them!!! it breaks my heart knowing i am getting an adorable nephew that i wont get to see very often and the first time i will get to hold him and see him in person is in september! but that is ok! that is what pictures are for right?? well i wanted to show you some before pics of silas before he is born...(still cooking in the oven!) i love my sister in law so much she is such a fun and energetic person. And will be a GREAT mom!

i cant believe my brother is going to be a daddy!!! i look up to him SO much and miss him SOO much! he is an amazing person and is even more of an amazing brother!! i am thankful for having such a great example in my life and he just keeps setting the example for me! i love you Devin and am SO proud of the man you have become!! you will be an AWESOME daddy! so here are some pictures of the lovely stephanie and her bun in the oven!!!
