Our Date! So fun...thank you honey....I know it was truly a labor of love for Matthew!
This week was full of goodtimes! The week started with a surprise date from Matthew to see one of my favorite childhood shows..." Little House on the Praire" starring the THE Melissa Gilbert. The show was fantastic (I was just itching to be on that stage!) and it was so great getting to see who I would pretend to play ALL THE TIME as a little girl in my imaginary world....Laura Ingalls Wilder! Anyhoo, we had a great time and it was so nice to have a little date just the two of us although we missed Grant the whole time!! Grant started to walk with his little push toy this week and it has been so cute to watch him!! I don't think it will be long before he starts to walk on his own. The weekend was packed full starting with a FREE Keith Urban concert(one of the perks to living in Nashville). The weather was not all that great but Grant and I braved it anyway on Friday, this was his first concert. The show was outside and was pretty packed but we ended up getting really lucky!! I was trying to get close to take some pictures and I was shooed away by a cop....so I just thought I would go stand behind all the media and press, well, I was shooed away again until.....this really nice man with a press pass saw us and came over and struck up a quick conversation. Come to find out he was not the press, but with the Keith Urban Team....he was Robert Reynolds and for those who are not familiar with him he is in the Maverick band and used to be married to Trisha Yearwood. He was so nice and gave us his press pass to we could stand there really close and get some great pics. The day was fun and we ended the evening with friends for dinner. On Saturday we decided to go brave the H1N1 shot at Centennial Highschool....let me just say that we got there at 9am when the doors opened and the line was about 300+ deep ALREADY....we waited, and waited, and waited and finally got to get the shot and after us there were only 200 more doses left so we almost didn't make it. We have all 3 been vaccinated for H1N1 now so I am feeling alot better about the whole thing. After the whole shot thing we had a late brunch with our friends Brian and Jocee at Dotson's in Franklin ( that place it really good but definitely in time warp!) and spent the rest of the afternoon with our dear friends at the Franklin pumpkin fest. We were pooped by the end of the day so we decided to tuck it in for the night. Here are the highlights of the week. Enjoy!
