We had a fun 4th of July. We started by going swimming with Evan and Julie's boys. The kids had fun reconnecting with their cousins. After swimming we came back to Grandpa Kulbacki's house and played and had hot dogs and hamburgers. Great-Grandma Lemon was there too! We really had a fun time visiting and hanging out with family.
After we left Grandpa's we came back to our house and set up the tent in the backyard and built a fire. Then when fireworks started we all climbed onto our roof and watched them. It was pretty cool to have fireworks all around us. We could see the cities fireworks and we had a bunch of neighbors around us that where shooting them off.
We then slept in our tent. It was a pretty eventful night. We had some crazy wind and then some rain. We all survived and had a fun time.
The one sad part of the day was Noodles, our dog. She was unable to walk anymore. She had been struggling with walking for awhile, but on the 4th she could no longer get up. She was throwing up most everything thing she ate. Daniel was picking her up and moving her around to where she needed to be. It was very sad to see. By Saturday she would no longer eat or drink and her breathing was sounding pretty bad. It was a hard thing to take her to the vet and say goodbye. She was a very good dog and we have had her for 9 years.
We took pictures with her on the 4th.
She loved playing in the snow.
Noodles was so good with the kids. She never tried to bite them and would let them lay on her.
We will miss her.
