Brynlee's 3!

I'm a little behind, but I'm trying to slowly catch up. Brynlee turned 3 on June 16. I can not believe that I have a 3 year old! Geez, time flies. We had a princess party for her and invited a few of her friends. We made princess hats, played games, ate cake and ice cream, and had a blast! Happy Birthday My Sweet Little Princess! We love you!! ImageConcentrating very hard on her princess hat. It had to be just right and she did not want any help. Image The final product! So proud!
Image The Cinderella cake. She was SO excited about it! After we sang to her I proceeded to remove Cinderella so that we could cut the cake and eat it. Well Brynlee for some reason thought that I cut Cinderella's head off and still to this day has to tell everyone that I cut Cinderella's head off. I just know that this is going to be the only thing that she remembers from her third birthday when she gets older.....

ImageOf course I forgot to take an up close picture until after we had already put candles in it and sang. Oops!
Image Opening presents!

Image Grandma and Uncle Kalen also made it to the party. Thanks for coming guys!
Image We had to save a few presents for when daddy got home so he could join in on all the fun!

Family reunion

Family reunions. This is the first of many that we will be attending this summer. We had fun riding horses, four wheelers, eating, chit chatting, and spending time with family!ImageUs
Image Boston loved riding the 4-wheeler with uncle Kalen. Every time we would take him off he would reach back for him in hopes of convincing everyone that he needed another ride.
Image Brynlee doing her favorite activity. Throwing rocks in the water. Why do kids love to do this so much?
Image Yeehaw!
Image Ice cream sandwiches. Yum yum.
Image We had a water gun fight. Brynlee's favorite person to get was grandpa Matt!

Princess Festival

A friend of ours told us about "The Princess Festival" that they have in Lindon, UT. I figured Brynlee would love it so since her birthday was the next week I decided to take her as part of an early birthday present. We went with her friend Brenna and her mom. They absolutely LOVED it! We got them all dressed up in their princess dresses and they loved being able to see all of the princesses especially Cinderella, who is Brynlee's favorite. Image CINERELLA! Whenever Brynlee gets super excited her hands always end up somewhere around her face or mouth which is followed by a very shy but happy smile. So you can tell from this picture that she was SUPER excited.
Image The only way we could convince Brenna to get in the picture too was to make the Prince leave :)
Image Hugs!

Image Cinderella's carriage was definitely a highlight. They both loved it and got pretty upset when they had to get out to let the next little princesses have their turn.
Image What can I say? They wanted to drive it, so we let them!

Brynlee thought it was hilarious to pull Lance around the pool by his feet

My little monkey

A couple of weeks ago I heard Boston "calling" me from the other room. So I walked into the living room to see what he needed and found him like this. Oh boy, I have a little monkey on my hands! He loves to climb on anything and everything. The toilet, the table, the stairs, the couch where he likes to stand up on the arm and look out the window, etc. I've got my hands full with this one!!

May happenings...

WOW! What a slacker! I can't believe it's been over a month since I last posted! May's been a busy one for us! Enjoy :)

**WARNING: picture overload**

Lance's birthday was May 2 and he decided for his birthday he wanted to go to Blackfoot and ride horses with his dad. So we packed up and went on our way. It ended up raining most of the time we were there so they didn't get to ride horses. But there is always next time right?

Happy Birthday Lance! Man, you're gettin' old! Love ya!

Mother's Day weekend we went to visit with my family in Cokeville. We had great time as always!

We took the kids out to ride Thumper the pony. They loved it!

Image Look at the huge smile on her face! She was so excited!

Image How's the view from this angle?
(do you like Brynlee's pink boots?)
The Union Pacific Steam Engine made its way through good old Evanston so we decided to go check it out. The kids loved it until it was getting ready to go and started to let off all its steam (it was REALLY loud).
Image
Boston's first hair cut!
Image Wouldn't you like to know what he is thinking? I'm guessing it's something like "Mom, what are you doing to me? I don't like it"
Image
For Memorial Day weekend we decided to go visit Lance's family. We had fun and even made a quick trip to Montana to visit Great-Grandma Jennie.
Image
Image Enjoying pony rides on Honey with Papa Clark!

Image John Deer hat. Check. Cowboy boots. Check. Horse. Check. Now what do I do?
Image
Image Had to take a break from the horses to feed the baby. What a girl!
Image
Image Boston loved to touch Honey's nose and thought it was SO funny. He was making us all laugh!
Image I wish you could see his face better. He was NOT a fan of the grass. What do I do to my kids that make them hate grass so much? Brynlee was the same way at this age.
Image
We took a trip to Bountiful to visit with my sister and her hubby, go to the temple, and get a few other things done. We all went to lunch at a place called "Mo Betta". They had delicious snow cones with sweet and condensed milk on top. It was soooo good.
Boston wasn't so sure at first....
Image What is that?
Image Eww! You're really going to eat that?ImageOkay. If you force me, I'll try some.... but I'm not so sure.
Image OH WOW! THAT'S GOOD STUFF!! GIVE ME MORE, GIVE ME MORE!
Image We wore the poor little guy out shopping. He does look awfully comfy though don't you think?
Image We took Brynlee to Build-a-Bear to look around. She absolutely LOVED this dog. Honestly though, what kid wouldn't? It had its own clothes, a leash and collar, AND roller skates! Who could ask for anything more?
