meet leah
leah is the newest member of our family. she is the cute black dog on the left. we inherited her from mere and rion (my cousin and her man) who are moving overseas in a couple of weeks. she is sweet and mellow as opposed to lucy who is sweet and hyperactive. one more girl to add to the mix. my husband is in heaven.

Super. Crazy. Busy weekend.
Because of that I woke up this morning a titch grumpy.
Evidenced by the fact that when my kids were singing Christmas carols it was annoying me.
And I love Christmas carols. And my kids.
I need some rest.
I went to the Glory to the Newborn King cantata tonight. It was marvelous. It definitely lifted my mood and reminded me that I love my Savior. And that I shouldn't be grumpy. Ever.
There is one more performance next Sunday. Don't miss out.
Another thought I am having tonight...
Why is it like pulling teeth to get my kids to wear their coats? They are standing there freezing cold, teeth chattering, holding their coats and they won't put them on (see photo below). What is up with that?

This weekend begins this wonderful Nativity event, in which my ultra-talented sister-in-law happens to be the pianist. If you live in the area you really should come.
It will be wonderful.

Guess who showed up at our house today?
His name is Fred and he likes to sit on shelves. And pine cones, apparently.
The girls love this holiday tradition we've had for the last 3 years. They were freaking out when he appeared this morning.
What holiday traditions do you have?
On another note, I think I'm addicted to Archer Farms' Monster trail mix.
Can't. Stop. Eating. Monster. Mix. Trail. Eating. Mix. Monster.
Someone please stop me.
Happy December!
