Suffering from Social Media: Guilty

I am definitely guilty of being obsessed with technology. I seriously cannot go even five minutes without looking at my phone, checking facebook, browsing twitter, glancing at instagram, etc. etc. etc.
So I found this awesome video, actually I found it for a class project, but then I just re watched it. It is great, and a must watch.
Plus, I loooove the music.

enjoy.

ENGAGED!!

I know, I know.
It's been more than forever.
Buuuuut, I have more free time now and I feel that I have something actually worth blogging about.

So...
Perry and I are ENGAGED!!
Finally!
Here's the scoop.
My parents took my brother and me to Hawaii for our graduation presents
(His from high school, mine from college)
and we flew down on Thursday, August 16.
We hung out, relaxed, went on some hikes for two days,
then...
Perry flew down on Saturday, August 18,
surprised me,
and proposed on the beach!
Of course, I said yes.

We were staying in Ko Olina, on the island of Oahu.
Ko Olina is a neighborhood and then has a bunch of resorts.
It has all of these personal Lagoons and a personal marina.
On Saturday, my dad decided he wanted to go for a walk to check out this luau BUT not go to the luau, and then see Lagoon #2 (Honu) because we hadn't been to that one yet.
I, of course, was a little upset, because on Friday we spent the whole day on the Lagoon's and already had walked around to see everything, so I didn't understand why we were taking a walk then.
Plus we can just look at the luau information online.
So we were walking on the path; my dad was almost running and getting mad at me for walking so slow.
I got bored and tried calling Perry, of course, he didn't answer. Strange.
I then turned the corner and boom!
Wait, wait, wait. Let me rewind.
The night before we drove into the International Market off of Waikiki beach,
and I swear I saw Perry there. A guy with long hair, white tee, and basketball shorts was walking around. Later that night, I saw about 2 other guys that looked exactly like Perry.
On the Pacific Islands, imagine that?
So back to the story.
I turn the corner and on the beach in the distance was this guy that looked exactly like Perry -
couple things, not wearing a white tee, not wearing gym shorts, and has his hair in a pony tail, not a bun.
So I looked away, thinking "that isn't Perry, he doesn't dress like that. It is probably just another one of 'those guys'."
I then looked again, and again, and again. But I continued walking.
My brother then says, "Ky, do you want to throw rocks into the water?" While pointing into the location of this Perry doppelganger.
I finally said to my mom, "Is that Perry?"
My mom says, "Auuhhh! You better go see him!!" Real surprising, huh?
So then I walked up to him, at this point he was waving to me.
And I gave him a hug, but he didn't pull away.
He kept rubbing my arms, very fast, and was breathing really heavily.
Or I guess he was more short of breath while talking.
I knew something was going to happen then.
He then said, "I just wanted to come see you, and do something else."
He proceeded to display his love for me, tell me how he wants to spend the rest of his life with me,
and then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
Of course, by this point we are both crying like newborn babies.
And like previously mentioned, I said yes!
My family and his two cousins were waiting for us and taking pictures on the walkway. It was definitely so surprising!

My brother didn't focus, and you can't hear anything, but here is the video.

It was SO romantic and I loved every minute of it!
I have never been happier. Ever!
