Ava’s new Bible verse is John 3:16. She’s been reciting it for a few weeks now. Here’s how it goes down, every single time……..”God loved da world so MUSH, he gave his ONLY son…..(counts on her fingers to 5)….John 15!” No matter how many times we go over it, it’s always John 15 and NOT John 3:16. It’s also always “da” instead of “the” and “mush” instead of “much”…… Poor girl, we make her say it ALL the time because it’s so stinkin’ cute! 😉
OCD or Creative?
I posted this on my Facebook page and got some good laughs from people. While I LOVE seeing my child being creative, there comes a point when you wonder if this is really her showing her creative side or should I be seeing RED flags!
It doesn’t bother Ava to be around where there are things all over the place. What she does is, she’ll take all her baby dolls, wrap them in burp cloths, and lay them all down next to each other. Then the next thing you know, she has gotten each doll a book to read and has sat the book on their laps. The funniest was when she lined up her shoes in a huge semi-circle.

Whew…..now I’m done. 🙂
We are almost done with school! Only 4 weeks left. This year has flown by. I was thinking earlier how nice this summer is going to be……sleeping in, relaxing, doing whatever…..then I realized that my summer is going to be almost as busy as this school year has been! Boston, Colorado, and many lake trips are already on the calendar, so my time for sleeping in and relaxing will have to be scheduled too, I guess. No complaints though, I have the best job ever! I get to do what I love with my children right beside me and be off with them at the same time. Doesn’t get much better than that! 😉

Oh, to be this little again!
Our lake trip this weekend got canceled so we decided to hit my mom and dad’s pool! Yesterday was a perfect day for it! The sun was out, the water was great, and the company was even better! Jace and Ava gave Nathan and Lindsey a workout! I lost count of how many times Nathan threw Jace so he could splash in the water and poor Lindsey had to catch Ava about 70 times as she jumped in and out of the pool. But, they sure had a blast getting to play with their “Winzey and Nafan”. We were missing Mams and Baw-Paw but we were glad they didn’t mind us using their pool while they were gone! 🙂
Justin’s “Mud Beast”

A couple of weekends ago, Justin and his friends went 4-wheeling for the weekend. When they got back, Justin’s truck was covered in mud. Jace of course thought it was the coolest thing ever! He calls dad’s truck the “mud beast” which cracks me up. Our driveway still has traces of mud on it…..ugh…….FYI: Mississippi River mud does not go away! I think next time I’ll insist that they take the “mud beast” to a car wash and not my driveway!
The Loooong Road To Disney World…..
There’s not too much to do when you’re driving 17 hours to Orlando. So, to occupy ourselves on the road trip, we’ve been taking silly pictures, coloring, watching dvd’s, playing board games, reading books, and I’ve been doing my best to get a nap in while Justin drives! 😉 We made it to Mobile, Alabama last night and stayed the night in a hotel. It’s way too difficult to try to drive straight thru with a 2 year old and a 5 year old! We should be in Orlando in a few hours! Here are a few pics of Ava playing in the car. I don’t have any of Jace at the moment because he’s been riding with Nana and Papa in their car. :). Fun times!

We’re going to Disney World! We are ALL excited about going this year. Even Ava is excited. She’s been saying, “I owna ee Mic Mouse!” If you need me to translate that for you…….I want to see Mickey Mouse! LOL! Do you ever get too old for Disney World? Nah……I don’t think so! 😉
We’re actually staying in one of the Disney Resorts this time! This is a first for me and I’m definitely looking forward to it!
