BULBOPHYLLUM PUSTULATUM RIDL. 1903.

Found in Penninsular Malaysia and Borneo as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with 3/4" [2 cm] spaced, somewhat flattened, cylindrical pseudobulbs enveloped by imbricating basal sheaths when arising and carrying a single, apical, ovate, acute leaf that narrows basally into a long attenuate petiole that blooms on 1 to 3 3" [7.5 cm] long 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence with flowers that open at dawn each day and close 3 hours later only to open again the next day.

Found in Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra at elevations of sea-level to 1000 in swamp forests on mature mangrove trees as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with slender, cylindrical pseudobulbs spaced 1 5/8" to 3 1/8" apart and ringed basally by stiff bristles and carries a single apical, narrowed gradually at both ends and basally into a short petiole leaf. Found in Pennisular Malaysia and Borneo in lowland swamp forests on tree trunks and branches at elevations of sea-level to 250 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with 2 to 5" between each narrowly cylindric pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, acute leaf that blooms on an slender, 4" (10 cm) long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with fragrant flowers that do not open well.
