Wish we were still there!!!

COLORADO part I

We had an awesome trip to Buena Vista, Colorado at the end of the summer. We were blessed to stay at the home of some great friends of the Leavelle's and it's an incredible house on a beautiful lot. Here are just a few of our 100's of pictures from the trip. Cooper and Cayden rode the zip line over the creek. Cutter just played with big sticks! We went to a ghost town and fed chipmunks from our hands, shoulders, laps, and even heads. (more pics of Cayden feeding these little guys will come later.) It was a wonderful trip- despite the drive.

4 Year Shots- OUCH

Today the twins had their 4-year-old shots. Scott actually took them for this appointment. (I was dreading this one more than most because they are old enough to know what's coming.) I posted these pictures because who would have guessed they'd be so big now. Cutter and Cooper both started life not even on the growth chart but quickly made their way onto the graph! Today, Cooper was 75% in weight and 75 % in height and Cutter was 80% in weight and 90% in height. (Cayden's a haas also at 75% in weight and 80% in height.) Who would have guessed they'd some day be so HUGE!!! We are blessed with three healthy and active kids!

4th of July Fun

Cooper and all the other kids from church were doing sparklers when one ended up on the ground. Cooper found it!

SOCCER CAMP

The kids had a full week of soccer camp. Cayden went for 3 hours and the twins went for 1 hour. It was the hottest week with record breaking highs. There were lots of breaks for Gatorade and water. The poor coaches were just over from England and still getting used to sunshine and heat. They did a great job though. All in all it was a very fun and very busy week.

Field Day

That recent cheer of the crowd and thrill of competition you sensed coming from central Texas was the product of the Thorton Elementary's annual FIELD DAY. (Think X-games just safer) This year was cool because the Army showed up to help. Soldiers from Fort Hood came over to run each of the game stations and they did a great job. Here are a couple of pics of Cayden in the various competitions.

Closing Ceremonies

Cutter and Cooper finished another year at the Western Hills Christian PreSchool. Thanks to Ms. Donna and all of the teachers who care for our kids.

Here Come's the Bride

Cooper LOVES to play dress up. One of her favorite outfits is a princess dress that looks more like a wedding dress to me. In this pic she is wearing the veil part of the outfit. Every time I see here in this my mind races toward the day that she will be wearing one for real. Oh my!!!

Zoo Day!

Cayden has a field trip to the zoo today. It is hard to believe that his 1st grade year is almost over.

You notice he took his camera with him, maybe we will post some of his nature photography.
