New Things.
Paige is really starting to get her own personality, daddy calls her Hollywood and her Aunt Leanna calls her Drama Queen. It is her way or the highway and if you don't do it her way let the tears flow. She has really gotten used to eating Peaches and daddy slipped her some Pears the other day (he didn't know the containers have names on them, he knows now) and suprise they went over better this time around. She still makes a huge mess while she eats (she also gets that from Daddy) and loves to stick her fingers in her mouth while it is filled with fruit, so not only is it down the front of her, but now in her hair, clothes, Bumbo seat and wherever else she may touch prior to being cleaned up. We have found out that Peaches stain clothes and bibs, so some of our clothes are spotted and forget about the bibs they look terrible from the stains. But all a part of growing up! She has started sitting up, somewhat unassisted, which we got on video the other day. She is now standing on your lap while she is being held, which she didn't do last week. We are afraid that she is going to skip crawling and go straight to walking. She still hates tummy times and therefore doesn't get much of it, we try really hard, but she just melts down to a little blob and won't do anything but cry and therefore doesn't allow her to learn to push herself up or lift her head. So she may just might go straight to walking, just to avoid being on her stomach. She is so much more fun now with all her expressions, talking and you can get her giggling which is the cutest thing ever. She laughs at daddy alot. She still loves her bath's and will spend hours in water if we let her, we can always calm her down when we put her in water, I hear that is another Lang gene, they love the water. I just can't believe how fast she has grown and all the new things she does week to week. It is so much fun watching her figure things out. We still have a hard time going to bed at night, it takes a hour to get her calmed down and sleeping, but time I cherish because one day she will not want to be held by mom and sit on my lap. Once she is asleep we don't hear from her for the rest of the night! If we could only get her to sleep past 6:30am on the weekends that would be awesome! During the week she will sleep till 7 or 7:30am, but Saturday and Sunday, not a chance. But I hear I should be really glad she sleeps thru the night and that we are! Just wanted to update everyone on the little princess. She is growing like a weed!

Had to post!
Fruit!

Our first feeding of fruit. Went over like a lead balloon! I put the spoon in her mouth, and get the pears in and out they came by way of tongue. We tried pears first and have since switched to peaches, the pears never caught on and the peaches are getting more tolerable by the day. We will stick with Peaches for three weeks and then go back to pears as long as she doesn't show any signs of being allergic to them. So far so good no allergic reaction! The last picture is her being disgusted, shortly after this picture the tears started and the feeding came to an abrupt halt!

Four Months!!!
Saturday Paige turned 4 months old, can you believe it??? I just can't, it has gone by soooo fast. We had our four month well baby check this morning and she did ok! She weighed 12 pounds and 4 ounces which is up 1 pound and 4 ounces from our last visit with the internist a month ago, so she is actually adding some pounds now! She is 24 inches long and last appointment with the internist she was 22 inches so 2 inches in a couple weeks, where is she getting this tall gene from??? She got three shots and another oral medication and didn't take the shots so good, she cried and screamed, but luckily the nurse did them quickly and I could pick her up immediately and make her feel better. With all the benchmarks for her age she is perfect, but still a little low on weight, but since none of the Dr.'s seem to worried about her weight, we will try not to be. She gets to start fruits and vegetables today and so off to buy a highchair! I'll add pictures soon!

Happy Mother's Day!

We just wanted to wish all the Mother's reading this blog a wonderful Mother's Day! It is a hard job, but well worth the pain, sweat and tears. Prior to being a mom, I wouldn't have thought I could love her as much as I do, she is a blessing that I will cherish for the rest of my life. A few pictures of us prior to church this morning, isn't she the cutest with her new bow in her hair!

So big!
Paige in the last week has accomplished many new things. She is sitting on the sofa with little help and she doesn't fall like a drunk, that is what her daddy would say when she would fall over. She holds her head up alot better then she did last week. She has even started to arch her body and get herself out of the carrier, time to strap her in, I never did before because she just sat in it, now she is getting a little too brave and trying to get out. She still hates tummy time and does alot of talking, making sounds and is now blowing rasberries. She is sleeping like a champ, she goes to bed at 8pm and she will wake up between 6:30am-7am, we are not complaining about that at all! It is amazing how much better you feel with a full nights sleep. She is now sitting in the Bumbo and doesn't seem to mind it. I've attached a picture of her from today, this is on my desk at work! Everyone who sees her still believes she looks like her daddy and I agree, she looks more like him everyday.
