Life

ok...so it's been FOREVER! Sorry. Life gets in the way, and so does FB! LOL! Well, Sarah is 7.5 mo. old and refuses to roll over. She's a pro at spinning on her tummy and is our little lazy Susan (Sarah). She loves to sit up and her sisters LOVE to have her constant attention! Maddie doing great in school and Kylie loves Joy School. Me...you know I keep myself busy. I have a few projects that I have been wanting to do...but I am a PRO procrastinator. I did make a few quilts and crafty things recently, and I did make the girls Witches TUTUs for halloween. Maddie convinced me to dress up and I normally NEVER do, but I figured...hey why not! Thank goodness I had this outfit (for like 13 yrs) and the hawaiian necklaces and a fun flower. Sarah was a Cat. So sweet. She fell asleep as we went trick or treating around the neighborhood.

GOOD NEWS!!!!!!! I WON the chili cook off for a combined ward cook off! OH YEAH!!!!!! I was soooo excited! 2 years in a row!

Baird Family Time

We had a great time with my family in town. We haven't all been together since my dad's funeral almost 6 yrs ago. Here's some fun pics! These are from the night before the wedding.

Rain Dance

Well, the day after Lynette's backyard wedding.....it POURED down rain. Kicker is that it was only a 10% chance of rain. It was like a monsoon. I was straightening my hair in our bathroom when I hear the big rain drops hitting the side of the house, so I came out to tell everyone it had started to rain. I was trying to flat iron my hair so Natalie could cut it since it's easier that way....but...I went out on the porch when I heard that Natalie(sister), Bailey(11yr old nephew), Maddie, Kylie & Roger (brother) were running outside in the rain. My hair went frizzy all over again. Oh well. It was hilarious watching them!!!! Keri (Lynette's friend from Modesto) was holding Sarah while my mom & I were taking pictures on the porch. Even though we were not IN the rain...we still got soaked from it blowing at us. This storm came out of nowhere. Thank goodness the wedding was the night before. And thank goodness I told the guys to take down the paper laterns the night before from the reception or else they would have been ruined! Quite a TEXAS storm. It was wonderful. I am glad I was able to share that with my family!

Summer

ok...so where to I begin? Ok...so Aug 1st I turned 31. yay me. I went to dinner with Larry (we haven't had a date with just the two of us in a long time), and then I went to dinner with a few friends from the ward.
Maddie lost her 8th tooth...she's so proud that she's pulled out 4 teeth all on her own.
And I cut her hair right before school started. She had been begging me for weeks to cut it, but I have to admit it looks adorable. She also started 2nd grade this yr.
Oh yeah...Natalie chopped mine off the night before my family left. I do NOT miss my long hair!!!!
Lynette & Richard got married Aug 14th. Pics in another post.
All of my family left my brother Brian was still here for a few days, and I was watching Lynette's kids for a few days when she was on her honeymoon, so Brian wanted to get us a present. A BETTA Fish, ours is named Jasper.
Sorry it's a crazy post, but I am trying to catch up.
