Taylor and Amanda have been at us for years to join them on their annual Memorial camp out, this year schedules and the stars aligned. Sadly Ash and Rich couldn't make it but their kiddos could come with Mom and Dad. Kaitlyn and Devin just moved to Idaho so we missed them as well.
It was cold, we spent a lot of time in the tent, which was amazing! It was like a miniature canvas house, complete with picnic table and wood burning stove. Taylor and Amanda take their camping business very seriously! The site included a toilet, kitchen and shower that they built!
We even brought Marshall.
This was just the back half of the tent. We slept 6 adults, 9 kids, and 4 dogs comfortably!
Hunting for Bigfoot!
Found him! Right in the middle of the picture, the small object stalking away. When we were driving through the woods, he jumped out behind us, roared at the kids, then trudged away through the meadow. It was very exciting. : )
Freezing, I mean fishing...
Little ones crashed on the way back to the site.
They made Daniel and Jackson gut their own fish they caught, ewwwww!
Little girl walk away from the guts!
Dinner time!
Potato gun time.
Little girls do not love the noise.
See, I was actually there.
FHE/church in the mountains.
Hike w/ Grandpa and T.
Playing catch waiting for the kids.
Found a horney toad while packing up.
But before we left the boys found a tree that they felt the need to chop down for fun, I think they really just wanted to show off their muscles.
On our way home we stopped in Panguitch and visited the quilt walk historical marker. We had a blast and now that we've gone I'm afraid we'll have to go much more!
