Family Pictures

Image
We got the entire clan together and took a few family pictures together. This was one of the good ones.... i think with 60 pictures taken, there were about 3! With 9 people, its hard to find a good picture of everyone!

Brad and I got a couple of just us too.

Christmas Trip

Brad and I have been in California for about a week now and we are having a blast! We had Christmas, a birthday party for Grandpa Fox, a trolley tour of San Diego, a trip to "Bodies- the Exhibition", the Holiday Bowl parade, a San Diego temple trip, an L.A. Lakers/Utah Jazz basketball game at Staples Center, and New Years Eve Bowling.

We leave on Wednesday, but not before the annual Urry New Years Day Rose Bowl Party! Woohoo!!

Probably the most exciting event for the trip was our San Diego Hornblower Dinner Cruise last night for our 1 year anniversary!! It was so nice! They served us a delicious 3 course meal, as well as played romantic songs for us to slow dance too. (There were some fImageast songs too, but well- Brad would have no such thing). Between the food and dancing we went out to admire the San Diego Skyline. Here are a few pictures of the night.

Good Bye 2007

Image

I know the picture is a little out of season, but I a blog entry without a picture is boring....

We are just finishing up our finals for the semester. We both only have ONE MORE SEMESTER! It is weird to think that we're almost done. We're both excited for (and need) Christmas break. We'll be spending it San Diego.....no white Christmas for us....but what a better place to be if you can't have the snow!

We're also coming up on our 1 year anniversary. Time goes by so fast when you're in love......ohhhhhhhhh. But seriously, we can't believe that we've almost been married one year, have a job lined up, and plan to move to San Francisco next July. We've already started to look at places to live....it looks like we'll have to eat rice and beans from here on out to afford an apartment in the Bay Area. Let's just say that we won't be buying a house any time soon. Well, I think that is all for 2007. See you next year!

BYU Football

ImageAs most of you probably know, Brad and I are avid BYU fans. Avid. Last Saturday was the highly anticipated BYU/Utah football game. This rivalry has gone back almost a hundred years, and vandalism the week before the "big game" is common. In fact, all week long the statues on campus are wrapped in cellophane and Y mountain is on 24-hour watch by the ROTC. The game has been sold out since September but Brad and I were lucky enough to get 3 extra tickets from some friends and we got to take our brothers Bryant, Chris, and Spencer with us. We had a great time and even better- the Cougars won!! It was the best game I have been to in all 4 years here in Provo. And, it was the last BYU game that Brad and I attended as students. What a way to end! Can't believe how fast these 4 years have gone, but they sure have been fun!
ImageHere are a couple of pictures of us at some of the games, and a few throughout the years. Dad always comes up once a year on his annual "guys trip".

See you in San Francisco

ImageWe've accepted the offer from Protiviti in San Francisco. We'll start July 1, 2008. We've already started to look for places to live. If anybody has any connections let us know!

The Protiviti office is in the 17th floor of this building and right when you walk out of the elevator you have a great view of the Bay!

Summer 2007

We took a vacation to park city at the end of the summer. On this ski-lift ride up the mountain I spotted two white-tailed deer! We took a few other small vacations as well.

We went camping in the Unita Mountains and hiking at Zion's National Park. We're an outdoors family....that is....the Hardcastles are an outdoor family. Lauren is still learning to love it!

We also went to california to visit Lauren's family this summer. Went to a Padre's game and Marcus's wedding (even though we drove around for 2 hours and showed up late)!
