~ Embellished Acrylic Tags

dscn0595.jpgI can’t seem to get enough of acrylic tags!  I punched the tags at my LSS.  I made one decorated tag to add to the Easter Egg Purse (see post below) as a gift tag but then I made another and then another (you get the picture).  Punching and layering the flowers is so addictive!  I used my Extra-Large Oopsie Daisy Fiskars Squeeze Punch for the flowers.  What I didn’t like was peeling off the protective plastic from both sides of the acrylic.  That part was for the birds!

Stuff:  acrylic – from my LSS, no brand; patterned paper – Basic Grey; ribbon – Stampin’ Up!; buttons – can’t remember

P.S.  Happy Birthday to my little 34 year old brother, Jimmy!

~ Paper Longaberger Tea Baskets and Tags (Yes–these are made of cardstock!)

pp41dscn0342.jpg

This is my last Valentine’s project this year.  These are paper Longaberger Tea Baskets made with a stamp I bought years ago at the Homestead at Longaberger in Ohio.  I’m giving these little baskets to the rest of my co-workers in other sections that aren’t already getting a french fry box (see that project a few posts down).

Update 02/13/08 – Just added the picture of the tags I will be including with the baskets.  Yep, another 20 eyelets!  (Where is that new Big Bite CAD 2?  Gotta get it!) I’ll add the names to the tags tomorrow when I get to work!

Stuff:  baskets:  cardstock – Longaberger; patterned paper, ribbon and ink – Stampin’ Up; mini-brads – Making Memories; tulle cirles – eFavormart, tags:  cardstock – Bazzill; flower eyelets – Stampin’ Up!; random mulberry paper and crochet string

~ Oh so many eyelets (My justification for the Big Bite CAD2)

Dawn T had posed the question the other day about the number of eyelets that I do to warrant buying the Big Bite Crop-a-dile 2. Well…let’s just say that I had “eyeletted” 60 tags this weekend for the favor boxes I put together for a retirement luncheon. Yep, 60 eyelets.
