Today is my day of leaving Melbourne, Australia after 1 year of study in MONASH University. Today is my 295th day in Melbourne after I arrived in Melbourne on February. Due to the financial benefits, I am taking Tiger Airways, a budget airline from Singapore. This journey from Melbourne to Singapore consists of 2 flights, from Melbourne to Darwin at 8.00pm and then from Darwin to Singapore, and I'll reach Singapore at 3.50 am on 5thh December (Singapore local time).
Later on the day, I'll visit around in Singapore before I continue my journey back to Malaysia by taking train for 10 hrs to reach my beloved hometown. I really can wait to be home, my sweet home.
Yeah, finally I am going home.....:)

Random
After the exam on 9 Nov, we all were "MERDEKA" I am not sure what is the right feeling for now, but anyway, I got through it and now I am having the other mile to go in my life. Nothing is perfect actually and I am always hoping for the best that I can do.
During that period, I discovered the treasures of Friendships and Love. It's really a long story but anyway thanks to everyone and I really appreciate your companions for the whole year through, WITH OUT you all I won't be myself for sure. My dear friends in MONASH University, especially those in MISU and everyone I know. Never forget are my Best companion, Wong KY, and .... They are too many to be listed I guess, but I always treasure you all as my FRIENDS. Friendships Forever.

Summer Vacation!!!
Hooray!!! I am going for a vacation in Brisbane and Gold Coast in few hours!!! This is the trip we have planned for so long and we really wanna to be there for the first ever summer in Australia. We heard so much on the joy and excitements of Gold Coast, now will be our turns to experience it ourselves!!! And after that I'll be in Melbourne for few days before I am leaving back home to my sweet home........:)

After First Year exam!!!!
Finally this is my update after so long!!! Exam on 9 Nov and OSCE on 1 Nov. And I finished my first year of medicine in MONASH University!!! And the most excited plan is we are going to Gold Coast and Brisbane for 8 days trip!!! I have been longing to go out for a vacation since my semester started. I realized I still have so much to explore in the world, and I am going to travel around the world!!! Now my target is to travel around as much as I can in Australia and make use of my studying period here. LOL. Seems like I am coming Australia for holiday instead of studying. Hahah…but definitely “Study Hard, and Play hard!!” LOL
Short after exam, we have had so much plans, and we tried to squeeze all our plan while everyone is here. Like we cooked for Augusta and friends on last Saturday. It’s really a great feast and we had so much food. We, Yu Wan, Chau Wang, Jessica, Yun Ying and I were the main chefs that day, we managed to cook 5 dishes with Bak Kut Teh and some desserts (Batik Cake, Triffle and Fruit jelly) everything seemed awesome that day, and we had lots of fun. It’s our returning appreciation to Augusta them who celebrated our first Chinese New year in Australia when we’re new in Melbourne. It’s our sweet time while we enjoying the feast with them. It’s also an gathering for us after exam!!! J
And after all, we played Frisbee and soccer in the afternoon when it’s the hottest time!!! (1-3pm) and at night we played badminton ……it’s really a tiring day but it’s really a great rewarding supper from cheanying and yeusheng after that. They made Taco (a Mexican pie I should say) I am not sure how to describe it…LOL….it’s really delicious and appetizing. Guess what I ate 3 pieces!!! Thanks a lot, cy and ys!!!
After few days of packing and we eventually settled all the storage stuff, and we are storing our stuff for 4 months till we came back for summer vacation. Guess what we booked a storage space of 30 cubic meter, we just managed to occupy only 1/3 of it!!!! We should have booked a smaller one, but next year we may need a bigger one!!! LOL..
About my study I never imagine I am finishing my first year so soon, and I still remember my departure to Australia in KLIA and the first day in Melbourne. And eventually it’s the end of the first year (I’m now a 20% doctor!!). Refreshing back what have I learnt up to date and …… I am really so shocked that the time passed so quickly and I want to beneficial my time as much as I can… I would need to learn more to gain more knowledge as I can so that I can be a good and qualified doctor after the five years of university life.

Spring Break
After a long stretching of the first half of Semester 2, I had my 1 week spring break. It's really a rewarding break for me for a short break during my sem 2.
Brighton Beach, Royal Melbourne Show, Tulips Festival and William Ricketts Sanctuary...are the best places to go during spring in Melbourne. I really enjoyed a lot for the whole week.
Brighton Beach was the 2nd beach I visited in Melbourne. This beach seemed to be bigger and broader compared to St Kilda Beach and it's much more sea shells to be picked up. I like to listen to the song of the sea waves while having a short enjoying walk along the seaside. It's one of the best time of my life. At the other end we could see boats and there was someone flying a huge kite. At the same time there're many ppl jogging along the refreshing beach. It's so comfortable under the Spring sun and breathing with the lovely winds. :)
Royal Melbourne Show is an annual prestige event in Melbourne. Yun Ying, Chau Wang, Jessica and I went there for a big day out. It's really like a bigger and more eventful than that in Malaysian Fun-Fair. The best I watched were the Shrek 3 live show, open-air circus, pig races, ferrets show, 4x4 car shows, stunt bikes performance and fireworks!!! And we met another 2 new friends, Wen Jie and Yi Heng who are currently studying in La Trobe University. Yeah it's great to know you both...Keep in touch ya..:)
Tulips farm and William Ricketts Sanctuary trip was organised by MRS. TULIPS FARM!!! I din know there are so many colours of tulips, I never know Tulips ......never appreciate its beauty at all before. Spring in Australia gave me so many surprises and I really appreciate the beauty and the great creation of Nature....William Ricketts Sanctuary was a park in Victoria with the statues of indigenous community. :)

春天的莅临
寒冷的冬天已渐渐的消失，接着而来的是令人期待的春天。居住在长年炎热的马来西亚的我至今是第一次感受到四季的变化，我更加感激大自然的奥妙。
春天的莅临带来了温暖，带来了朝气。鸟儿尤其是绿色多彩鲜艳的鹦鹉出来与大地自由自在的翱翔，唱着动人的歌声。花儿尽情的绽放...路边的小黄花铺满平日仅是绿色的草地，还有粉红色，鲜橙色的花朵。。。我好喜爱躺在大自然的怀里聆听的这早春的讯息，欣赏着大自然的伟大杰作...

Ling Sing's Birthday
I was so sleepy, when Nooi Hoay asked me whether wanna go for LS's surprise birthday celebration in city onot...I just answered randomly that I'll decide then, and I went to bed...:P
On that afternoon, I got a call...
CY said, "I reckon u r quite close with LS as two of u failed___together"
I was laughing nonstop..but definitely I went to city for it...
instead of going at 5 pm then suddenly 5min before 5, CY only informed me that plan changed to 6pm...as..metcards.....haha...:P
and she almost forgot to inform me........arrgghh

We reached city at about 7pm and only we realised that no one knows where is the Korean restaurant and even ZhiHan din know where is it, and the only person know where is it, is Daphene who was still seeping that time..LOL
yeah, we did enjoy the night walk in city and we even toured from the Melbourne Central station to China Town and back to Melbourne Central to meet Zhi Han, Ling Sing, Daphene and Ru Xing.
We had great korean food in the restaurant and it's quite satisfying. However Jessica and Chean Ying also agreed that Clayton's one is better..LOL...
BUt it's just the 2nd time I ate Korean feast in my life..LOL.
After that, we bought ice-cream to Lygon St and eventually....5 of us said we wanted to go back at about 10.00pm!!! However we went to take tram to CS to give surprise to Ling Sing. But who knows when we're waiting for tram, Ling Sing them came over to the same tram stop!!! To avoid the failing of the plan, we got to go down to next tram stop. But who knows Ling Sing didnt manage to see us although we are just a street opposite to each other.
After a long waiting on the street, finally we did make a surprise for Ling SIng!!! She was never expect us to be there to celebrate with her after all we said that we went back to MONASH earlier!! LOL..

So 'Lucky' that by that time, we missed the last bus from Huntingdale station back to MONASH. We got to take cabs which cost us $12 for 10min ride!!! By the time we reached our room was already 1.10 am!!! LOL...
What an interesting day, I like it so much.

Rural Placement---> Bairnsdale Photos!!!!

Monday: Depart from Southern Cross station to Bairnsdale by V-Line.
Tuesday: Community Health services, Home visit in East Gippsland Health Service in Lake Entrance, visiting around in Lake Entrance, Metung, Swan Reach and farm
Wednesday: Hospital visit, in Operation Theatre, witnessed Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, diathermy of genital and perianal warts, and ovarian cystectomy.What a great experience. Visited surgical wards, observed on the recovery of patients in wards after surgeries and the routine of the nurses shifts swapping.
Thursday: SEAMEC visit in Lake Entrance and went over to the Ninety-Mile Beach where I was having the lake on my left and the ocean on my right side!! what a miracle!!!
Friday: Eventually, it came to the final day, we really had a great time in Bairnsdale, Thanks to all the staffs (Debra and Jenny) and Jess (4th yr senior) for treating us so nice over there.
Nice to meet some new friends over Bairnsdale, Friendship forever!!
It's always a memorable experience in my life. :)

Rural Placement---> Bairnsdale
Soon, I am going to be into Week 3 out of 13 weeks of my 2nd sem!!! I can never imagine that the time travels so quick like lightning. Week 3 is the week I have been longing for, I am going to Bairnsdale for this Rural Placement, which is about 4 hrs train ride from the Melbourne CBD. I have never been in the rural of Australia, never, guess it'll be exciting and fun...
Heard from seniors, it'll be pretty fun but tiring. I am going to fully utilise this opportunity to get as much as exposure as I can in this week. Mayb it's the time ti enjoy the another side of Australian life. I shall take as much as picture as I can and all my dear friends in MISU and everyone all the best for this placement..
Wish me luck for this. :)

A new Semester...A new start.....
Yo… finally I ended my 1st semester exam!!! Phew…though I don’t really optimistic on this exam but this exam was just 5% of the Year 1 MBBS….Finally…finally…
But the 2nd semester started along on the same day of exam. Means I totally don’t have any rest and got to continue for the new semester. This semester consists of 80% of the Year 1, definitely don’t have any chance for any procrastination.
Looking at the timetable, I’m totally stunned. We can have 28 hours of lectures, tutes and prac in a week!!! Imagine having 8am -5pm class everyday; imagine of 4 hours continuous lectures from 1pm to 5pm in the AFTERNOON!!! how tired it is…..and the worse is I’ll have 4 days of a week until 5pm!!...................................
Wish me all the best for the coming semester and manage to survive in Medicine course… :D

I am so lazy...exam coming soon in the first day of sem 2.

First ever winter break
I was always imagine I would be able to study or to go oversea. Now not only my dream comes true and I.m having the first ever winter break!! Back in M'sia we won't call it winter break or whatever season....Just call HOLIDAY!!! M'sia is really a truly all year round hot and humid!! :P (Now I do miss M'sian weather a bit.)
In the past few weeks of my winter break, places where I visited:-
i. Shrine of Remembrance
ii. Royal Botanic Garden Melbourne
iii. Best Vietnamese Restaurant at Glen Waverley
iv. Movies!!
v. Springvale (I got lots of groceries which I miss it lots in M'sia)
vi. Brandon Park
I had the best ever pasta in an Italian Restaurant in Melbourne city...guess what it's the most expensive pasta I had!! cost me AUD 16.90!!! Hahaa....But I was satisfying with it's quality, it's really very delicious and special.
Melbourne Royal Botanic Garden is really full of surprise, we were totally indulged in the great landscapes and the plantae kingdom!! Almost all the world seasonal plants are found in this garden...it's really marvellous....

I had the best ever pasta in an Italian Restaurant in Melbourne city...guess what it's the most expensive pasta I had!! cost me AUD 16.90!!! Hahaa....But I was satisfying with it's quality, it's really very delicious and special.
Melbourne Royal Botanic Garden is really full of surprise, we were totally indulged in the great landscapes and the plantae kingdom!! Almost all the world seasonal plants are found in this garden...it's really marvellous....
Update with you all soon.
Tomorrow I'll be going to Sydney for a 9days trip there.

假期的第一天
我再整四个月后终于剪头发了！！！这次的理发，竟可破了我人生中的几个纪录.
1. 最贵---澳币12元=大约马币36元!! (在澳洲是相当便宜了..:)
2. 最久---理发师花费了大约30分钟
3. 第一个非华裔的理发师---韩国裔的澳洲人
4. 最享受---理发师的料理我的头发
5. 最舒服---我差点就在椅子上睡着了... :P
6. 最湿---理发师在我头发上喷了好多水....好像在冲凉...!!!
7. 最特别---我能感觉到理发室的用心
8. 最开心---我好喜欢我的新发型
9. 第一次在国外理发---澳洲墨尔本
10...........................还是毕生难忘..... (十个才会十全十美.... :P)

Saturday!!! When the Exam is postponed...
As we knew that the exam is postponed, we had lots of plan ahead...
Even though some of that must be canceled or postponed, but this Sat I just wanted to treat myself for a better Sat..mayb a special one..
Nooi Hoay, YunYing and I decided to go to the apple farm which we passed by the other day to have a look and to get some fresh fruits. It's really the other side of Melbourne I experienced in the apple farm!!! Unfortunately, the apple plucking season was over...What were left are the 'nearly bald' apple trees and the some plucked apples to be purchased!! but we never felt despair over it but were really feeling satisfied to be there. The apples are so fresh and cheap!! (relatively to the one in the shops for sure!) Apparently, 4 KG (about 40 apples) of Royal Gala costs $5!!! Pink Lady was cheaper also!! eventually we grabbed 12 kg of fruits from the farm and others).

As the farm was just 5 min away from the KNOX city SC, we went there as well for a short walk and lunch!! When we were on the way back from the Knox City SC, we would pass by the Glen and a cinema. The aroma of the best coffee I had last few weeks ago made me want to there again for a second one. We eventually stopped by Glen and had our dinner (definitely with the coffee). As there's another Cinema around there, we ended up had my 1st movie watched in Australian Cinema!!! Pirates 3!!! The cinema is really much more bigger than that in Malaysian. The best one was the seats were really broad and cosy. It's so ideal for a best enjoyable movie!! Though it cost me $11.50(expensive right compared to M'sia??), we had really out great time!! Eventually we managed to come back to Halls by 10pm!!

无题
看过这么多用华文的部落个，我期待自己有时间为自己的部落格添些华文的气息。
看过宇声的部落格，或许只因我的母语是华文,让我有无形的亲切感。。
但。。。。
或许最近有些事情在困扰着我，令我的心情之平面湖上产生了不少涟漪。
至今，我的所见所闻给予我许多许多的讯息，但。。。当要把这些“应该做的”实践在自己身上就有些难度，这一切像是一些杂乱的思绪不停的在脑海里打滚。
我的心情写照：

EXAM!!!!...phew....it's over!!!
Finally the exam was over!!! Practically I don’t think I did well in this exam, may be can say I really did badly in this exam. Flashing back…The one week holiday was ended in a blinking of eye. I did not think that I have done lots according to what I had planned for my holiday. But I did have enough rest and explore another suburb of near Clayton, Forest Hill. It’s really a good place especially the shopping centre which features with the biggest and spacious area for shopping. Haha…obviously, I didn’t prepare well for my exam… As the holiday ended, it’s the start of my nightmare…of trying to cope with the current study with the preparation of exam. What to do?
The day before the exam, I went to get my injection in the health services. Guess what…I paid $137 to get 4 pokes into my arms for 4 injections!!! Haha….never convert to RM …it would be… Some more after the injection I felt the big problem was arisen!! I felt headache!!! As the side effect of the injection!! It’s like the cutting type of pain on the back of my head which was like the continuous strike on the back of my head. How was I supposed to study for the last minute for my exam???….all the plan in my head was gone with the headache!!! ….too bad…the exam was definitely a mess with the incomplete preparation…haha…actually I didn’t have any good preparation on the notes also… :P what to do? Just wish to have a better time then and have a better preparation for the next one to catch up…it’s still not too late in the long run….haha…
Now the important thing is to have fun and relax for this moment to get my energy and enthusiasm back…yeah…time to have fun…

Holiday!!!
It has been 1-week Easter holiday since this Thursday (5 Apr) !!! But the first thing I do is to get as much as possible and to get myself relax instead of going around to visit. :)
Yesterday, it's the day I totally have my time to do stuff that I wish to do. ZhiHan & LingSing came over to visit MONASH and stayed overnight here. It was unique and special to walk around in a quiet and almost deserted MONASH campus. We managed to catch some photos which we have never done that normally. It's pretty weird. Haha... But I forgot to bring my camera out!! Nvm, get the photos from others then...
As it's holiday, Mess Hall is closed, then we went to the nearest shop for dinner. Though it's the nearest but it still took us 10-15 min walk!!! imagine the walk in the 12 degree evening with the "gentle" freezing breeze... cold!!!! The dinner of a black soy sauce space-rib pork with fried rice cost $8.50 (appro RM25) !!! it's quite cheap I guess (if compare with the other restaurant). haha.. But comparatively, the opportunity of having dinner together with friends is always more worthy than any materialistic item!! Cheers, friends!! ya, it's very full with my capacity to consume an Australian meal.
Today, we just found the best ever shopping complex that we ever go!!! The Forest Hill Chase!! I didn't mean that I like to shop so much, but I like the ambiance, the environment of this complex. It's really spacious with almost all the necessary stores ranging from fashion stores, hypermarkets, markets, gift shops to confectionery (more to chocolate) stores. yeah, people here like chocolate lots. We had a great time there....It's more to discovering of new stuff...there's a shop with mostly the cheapest stuff, most of us gt lots....but I didn't.
hahaa....But I gt a new pair of sport shoes and a jacket in another shop!!!.... Haha..seems like spending too much...:)
These two days remind me of the days in A6 and INTEC...
Wish to get more and more greater day onwards here then... :)

Melbourne
Luna Park tripFriends in Australia are very helpful especially the M’sian gang, mayb because we are all in the same boat, away from home and family. Friends play the most important and epression roles in supporting and encouraging each other. I really appreciate to the people around who give me all the great time here as I was the one arrived a day later than most of the people here.

Other than these, I meet a wide range of people like Australians, Singaporeans, Malaysians, other international students. Furthermore, the seniors here are the one who have been always giving me the useful and helpful tips for the survival in the new environment, new country as well as the new culture. Mayb can’t say is new culture just can say as the diverse culture with more people from variety of culture and background.
On the other side, INTEC friends who are currently studying in every corner of the world, you all gave me memorable experiences in the life of 1.5 yrs…remember to keep in touch o…
Melbourne is the nearest city for me in Monash. This city is blended with traditional buildings and modern skyscrapers. People population is like a reflection of the world’s population. Haha.. even a group of people hanging around in melb, is like a mock United Nations (UN) group.
I like the way people conserve the heritage and the history. Even the buildings of centuries ago can be spotted in the city centre. The yarra river bank (SouthBank) which I went to days ago is a history reflective tour for me. Show you some of the pictures here:

Standard Drink
Life in Australia is definitely much more different from where I am from.
First,
The most common greeting which almost everyone here will say when they meet u is
They normally will say
"How are you going?"
instead of "How are you?"
But strangely is " am I going anywhere?"
Yeah, people here are very friendly, they'll always lend a helping hand to you, and you won't see any faces other than smiling faces in the whatever counter and receptions. I really respect to their attitude toward their job.
Mayb is due to their working attitude, the public transport services are really always punctual and on time.
At the other side, Australian culture is tend to drink. Every morning, I can hear the person in charge who takes care of the hall, collecting numerous of alcohol bottles and cans. Definitely, the number of bottles is seemed like uncountable..haha...
In my hall, parties and pub visits are kind of rountine like pub visiting is every Thursday night 10.00 pm. Pub visiting is another way to socialise here and to get to know more people as well to blend into the life in Australia.
