What I believe in

I believe in embarrassing moments

We all do stupid things. everyone. which means no person is ever exempt from that. EVERYONE. we all trip in front of our crushes, we all spill food on ourselves, our hair doesn’t always look perfect. we all had an awkward stage in our life, where we wanted to look beautiful, but we just didn’t, and yes, we  have all split our pants right down the middle. And that is great because when we have embarrassing moments, we have two choices, 1. we can get super embarrassed, and think that things like this only happen to you, and wish to curl up in the corner of the room, and be hidden forever, or we can laugh it out and get over it. trust me. Everyone gets embarrassed. or 2. seriously?! the saying “those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter, wont mind.” isn’t around for nothing. if someone is going to pretend to be better then you, and make fun of you when you get in an embarrassing situation, really shouldn’t be in your life, the world isn’t supposed to be like crabs in a bucket, where the only way you think your going to get out of the bucket, is by tearing others down.

So, yes. I believe in having embarrassing moments, because when we have embarrassing moments, we are getting tested to see how you are going to respond. they are character building. So don’t worry about what people think about you, when you do something super embarrassing. just be yourself.

I believe in sweatpants

everyone knows what a pair of sweatpants look like, they are big, and baggy. they are usually black or grey. they are known for being used to just be around the house. they are the most comfortable pair of pants you own. and even though you would never go to prom in them, they are your favorite pants, because they make you feel good about your body. I don’t know the science behind that thought. but I do know that I just walked into my room, and I was wearing jeans, I looked into my full length mirror, and went to the closet and changed into my sweatpants. I feel so much better about my body. I know that because I have my favorite pants on today, my legs will look good somehow in the baggiest pants I own.Image

I believe in purple

I believe in purple, because it can be a vibrant color, it can be a calming color, It looks good on EVERYONE, and there are so many different colors of purple, that you just need to pick one that looks beautiful on you. Purple is my happycolor. When I am nervous, I wear purple because it is fearless. I feel like it is helping show the world that I am here, and no one can move me, I have a place in this world, because I allow myself to wear a color like purple. Many people I have talked to, disagree on my theory that purple looks good on everyone, but then I show them a color of purple that would look so delicious with their skin, eye, and hair color, and its true, purple just melts with every color. mmmmm…. its like taking a bite of a chocolate chip cookie that just came out of the oven. soft, and delicious. but its not a color that you can over look, when you walk into a room wearing purple, you automatically receive attention. you cannot wear purple, and NOT get noticed. It is a color that demands attention. EXAMPLE!  this door:

you cannot simply walk by this door without looking at it. you just have to. because it demands your attention.
