Welcome to the International Olympic Academy Library portal!

Located in Ancient Olympia, Greece, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, the IOA Library supports the educational work of the IOA by offering to all IOA participants, students and visitors a rich collection focused on Olympic Studies and related subjects.

As member of the Olympic World Library Network, we are proud to provide access, further to our physical collections, also to the digital documents of the IOA publications dating back to its founding year in 1961.

Discover IOA Publications

For more than 6 decades, the IOA has built an extensive tank of publications available in English, French and Greek, the majority of which is offered to the academic community in digital format.

IOA LIBRARY OPENING HOURS

MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9 AM TO 5 PM

During the IOA EVENTS:

Monday to Friday: 9 AM-8 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 12 PM-8 PM

Holidays & special closures will be announced.

The IOA Library premises will be closed to the public until January 13th.
You may contact the IOA Library for your requests by email until 31/12/2025.
All requests submitted after that date will be handled after 13/01/2026.
