The Lillico’s Weblog

I love spring and am so excited its here (for now)!  Maybe that’s why I’ve had such a hard time blogging, I’m such a crab all winter and don’t feel motivated to attempt new things!   We’ve really had some nice days outside and it feels so good to be able to sit outside and watch my kids run free.

Here are a few new pics of the kids at play.  Rory of course is in her glory playing with her BFF, Libby and I’m quite sure Liam believes that Libby is his bestest friend too, or should I say, “Yibby”.  We are so lucky to live next door to the Jaynes’.  I honestly don’t know what I’d do if we didn’t have such a wonderful family with such great kids living next to us!  That’s not to say that all my neighbors aren’t wonderful, they are!!  Our kids just play really well together and enjoy the endless playtime they have together and it’s sooooooooo handy!!!  Thanks Carrilyne (and Jared)!

So, this is my second attempt in almost a month to start blogging again…I’ll get into the hang of it one of these days.

We’ve had fun on the weekends with daddy, playing in the leaves.  Not much work going on out there and for all of you who know our house, we are the ones responsible for all the leaves pretty much everywhere in the neighborhood, sorry about that.

Well, let me know how you reserve time to do this because this has been a very frustrating 10 minutes with kids pulling on my legs and a lot of whining going on….

So after “blog-spying” for months and wondering where people find the time to write such interesting things, I’ve decided I’m the fool who has wasted so much time living vicariously through other peoples blogs.  Here I am, ready to document everything and anything so family and friends can see what we’re up to.  I have to dedicate this first blog to the people who have inspired me to start blogging – Carrilyne Jaynes and Olivia McCord – both have impressive blogs and truly have a knack and flare for preserving their family moments – thank-you to both for indirectly motivating me to start this!
