Some conversations just refuse to leave your head. Roughly 2 years ago, I sat in a conference room listening to Nick Miaritis, John Terrana and others talk about the increasingly non-linear consumer journey and what it means to be truly social-first. I remember thinking, “Yup, that makes sense.” The timing wasn't right then (all on me), but the philosophy stuck. Fast forward two years. I’m in a new role, and the consumer journey certainly hasn’t become more linear (a hot take, I know). As I learned more about Custom Ink and how we help customers memorialize key moments—personal or professional—that conversation, and what it meant to be social first, kept resurfacing. That is why I am excited to announce that Custom Ink has selected VaynerMedia as our lead media agency. We are doubling down on a modern, data-informed strategy. And that social-first rigor is how we will amplify the incredible stories our customers tell, and show how custom gear brings those moments to life.
