a round yard...

Mission accomplished....two hard days work by Ben and I and now I have a 75' (22m) round yard!

Gee my husband is great!

I am sure he could have thought of way more interesting things to do for his last two days at home...he leaves tomorrow at 5am...

But I think he actually enjoyed using his bobcat and hole borer!


 
It isn't perfect as we used the timber logs we saved from our post and rail fencing so a bit horse chewed in spots...and the wire is old fencing from the farm...but it suits me...now to try it out! Lissy

what we did in November....

November has been busy! Ben arrived home from work with a mo for MOVEMBER! He lasted another week!

The girls were busy with final preparations for the whole school production of the Wizard of OZ....dress rehearsal...

Off to get ready on the big night...

                                     

The actual performance...both my girls were Dorothy...Morganne was in scene one with Jorja..

 

Evangeline was in scene four with Jess...

                                                   

Intermission...

It was a really fabulous production and I was so proud of my girls...

The after party...

The next day was Lara's 8th birthday party...a dress up party so my girls chose to go as Dorothy!

We had an outing to the zoo with my mum, sister and family...

horse happenings in november...

Our horsey happening in November...

Bella has learnt to put her front two feet on the pedestal...

We have been up to visit Boy...who is being started under saddle by Mike...a fabulous natural horseman...

 Evangeline got to have a sit on him!

 He is so gorgeous!

 And he is going fabulously...

On our next visit he was progressing well! And being ridden out of the round yard!

 And I was very excited to have my first ride on him..I hadn't been expecting it! So I wasn't appropriately attired!

 He was perfect...stood patiently to be mounted, moved around calmly and was just lovely!

 

 

And Chief will now go and stand on the pedestal at liberty...that is with no halter and lead....

 Evangeline has been to riding lessons...on Bubbles...

And Trumby got some TLC..

My red string and certificate arrived from Parelli...for passing my level one...I have at the same time passed my level two online (horse on lead) and have only to pass my level two freestyle (riding) to then pass my level two ..so that is the plan for the next few months...once Boy is back home...Lissy
