B R oke N ):

My little girl broker her arm. Although she doesn't look too unhappy about it here. (: This is the picture I took for her baptismal invitations. She went to a friends birthday party at the roller skating rink and fell. I told her to shake it off and thought she was being a drama queen only to find her still crying over her piece of birthday cake an hour later. When I saw that I knew it must be serious so I brought her home and Daddy took her to The Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Luckily he knows his way around because he works there. They were very attentive with her and called it a buckle fracture. However looking at the x-rays when we went to get her cast on they discovered a broken ulna near the growth plate so although she will be getting her cast off next week she will need follow up appointments in 6 months and a year after the removal. She has taken it all like a champ and the cast itself is really cool because it's waterproof. She could swim with it on. She was able to pick out her favorite colors and even glitter. They sure have made alot of improvements since I was a pup! haah.

In other news we had a snow day in MARCH! While I am longlingly looking at my California friends pictures of their children in swim lessons on facebook we are snowed in doing puzzles.
Things could be worse I guess. We got some quality family time.

Image
And speaking of snow. I have become a fan of crochet. I made this hat for Bianca as my starter project. After that I made a few more hats and learned how to make flowers and headbands. It is so much fun! My next project is going to be slippers.

Image
While Bianca is at school all day I am home with these two. They are really into coloring and doing art projects together. Other hobbies include legos, sneaking outside, and fighting.

And last but not least my Sista and I got to see each other in January. And I will see her again this weekend at time out for women in Indianapolis! Woot, woot! We love getting the kiddies together and visiting. She also is the one who introduced me to crochet and has her own etsy shop! Check it out!  http://www.etsy.com/shop/ChickadeeDeeCrochet

December 2012

Image
Our December was awesome. I took the kids to the festival of lights at the zoo. We had a great time. They were oooing and aahhhing at all the lights.
Image
We went to a school party and B and W got pics with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
Image
We made lots of fun cookies for exchanges.
Image
Image
We wrapped Christmas books in wrapping paper and the kids took turns opening one each night to read.
Image
These are the Christmas pajamas that Bianca and Wyatt got from Grandma and Grandpa.

Image
We got this train set for Clark and set it up for Christmas morning. He loved it.
Image
Santa brought a bike for Wyatt, a loopsy singing doll for Bianca and an art table for Clark.
Image
We are very thankful for our health, family and friends. And another wonderful December.

November 2012

For Thanksgiving we took a trip out to Michigan to see Eric's family. His sister lives there with her 4 kids and then his other sister and her hubby and little boy came out and his parent's flew out from Utah. Since we knew we were going to be gone the day after Thanksgiving we put up our tree before we left.

ImageImage
Clark loved visiting with his cousins. Above he is dancing to his favorite party rockers video on youtube with his cousin Katie. Below are Bianca and Katie in their pajamas. They both had leopard prints pj's. Must be the style this year.

Image
Wyatt loved cuddling with Hailey.

Image
We went to JC Penney to take pictures on black friday but Clark was not very cooperative.

Image
The only way we could get him to calm down was when I was holding him. So we got a family pic even though we weren't planning on taking one.

Image
This was our first time meeting Garin who is Eric's oldest sisters little boy. Him and Clark got along pretty well. The way that Clark knows how to play is from his brother Wyatt who wrestles him all the time. He tried to wrestle with Garin but Garin didn't know what he was doing. Luckily Garin is very easy going and just went with it.

Clark loved being thrown around by his cousin Ryan. Anytime he can rough house he is happy.

Above is Eric's dad playing with Clark. Below are Wyatt and Garin. It was nice to get together with family over Thanksgiving. And it also feels nice to get this post up now that Christmas is only 2 days away! (:

October 2012

My sister is dying to see Halloween pics so I'll post those first just for you Mandy! (: This month flew by and I have a feeling the next few will as well with the holidays. We had a great October. The weather here has been near 65 degrees up until the last week! Unfortunately it was around 40 degrees and raining on Halloween. ): The kids still went trick or treating with friends though and were able to warm up a little on the way at the neighbors who have their fire pits out.

Image

Bianca was a zombie bride and Wyatt was spiderman. They got good use out of their costumes this year, as we went to Hallzooween, a Halloween party, a Halloween parade at school, a trunk or treat and trick or treating!

Image

The first night we took Bianca's makeup off she cried. She apparently has an inner zombie we didn't know about.

Image
At the trunk or treat with a friend. So funny.

Image

And my baby was a dragon. Who actually LIKED his costume AND hood! That is a first in the Hall children! Hooray!
Image

We did lots of decorating around the house, thanks to Wyatt. He LOVES to decorate and barely left any corner of the house untouched, including the outside of the house.

Here are more pics of the trunk or treat. There was a doughnut eating contest which I thought was hilarious.

 Image
And a pinata. That is Bianca with the bandana over her face.

And here are the kiddies going through their candy afterwards.

It was a great Halloween! So what else has been going on this month: Clark is an aspiring artist. He sets up his paper and markers at our dining room bench and colors several times a day.

Image

Daddy has been couponing again. He got 83 boxes of scalloped potatoes and made money off of it. We donated a bunch, thank goodness because I don't like potatoes that much. (;

Wyatt and Clark have been getting along swimmingly. Clark copies his big brother's every move.

 Image

Clark has been crazy lately and so we had to impliment the time out bucket. Which worked wonders for Wyatt unfortunately Clark figured out how to roll out the first time.

Image

The boys having their first tea party. I love that they wanted to do this. So cute.

Image
I couldn't leave out at least one of Clark's messes from the last month. Needless to say, I've been busy!

Happy October!!!!

September 2012

This month has been a LONG one. Maybe because it's the transitional month from Summer to Fall and getting back in school and back to work and THAT is a downer for me. I do like Fall because of the leaves changing and the apple picking, the scents of cinnamon, I like making caramel apples and I LOVE Thanksgiving. The hard thing is the illnesses that usually come with it. All three kiddies got sick this month. I know it's just a part of life but I hate it. Bianca just had a 24 hour bug. Wyatt got pneumonia and Clark has begun his inhaler again for the usual respiratory problems he has this time of year. One good thing that began this month was Bianca's ballet/jazz class. This will be her second year in dance and we love the program at her school and her teacher. She does a great job and has so much fun. Plus she is super cute in her dance clothes! (:

Image

Image
Clark is taking after his big brother. One day he just played with these little magnets for almost an hour.
Image

Image
Wylee when he was sick. This is how I know when my kids are really sick, when they fall asleep during the middle of the day. ): He was having trouble breathing and so we took him in. Thank goodness for antibiotics.
Image
Have you ever wanted to deep clean your squinkies? Consider making a squinkie cake. I had to clean them so meticulously to get the frosting out that they have never been cleaner. LOL.
Image
Clark has begun to enjoy drawing. He loves to make pictures with his markers.
Image
Legos are also a favorite past time around here lately.
Image

Image
This was when Bianca was sick, Clark was so sad for her. He kept trying to cuddle up to her but we pushed him away. We didn't want him to catch what she had.
Image
WARNING- Halloween spoilers!

Image
Clark really thought he looked cool in these glasses. And for some reason Bianca really wanted to be a bride this year. Surprisingly they had a costume for that. You'll have to wait until next month to see what the rest of us will be. I know you are hanging on the edge of your seats.
Image
Eric and I are doing well. Adjusting to his seminary schedule. He gets up at 5:15ish to get to class and set up for his 5:45 class. I don't know how he does it. He used to stay up until about 11, the other day I came home from a meeting at 9:15 and he was asleep. (: Poor guy. I know it's a sacrifice for him and his students but I also know both parties are receiving great blessings for it. I received a new calling as the first counselor in the relief society. I was surprised when I got the call and a little sad because I was just getting into my primary calling. But I'm a couple weeks into it now and it's fun. I am excited to work with the women in the ward and for all the things I will learn. Hope you all are well and we love to keep up with your blogs too! Happy September!
