Hairbow Holder!

So here is a hairbow holder I made for my girls!!

I think it turned out pretty cute! It was so much easier to get things done with mom here! Wish she could've stayed longer! Hopefully when David gets home I can finally start painting some of my furniture. It's gonna suck to tackle the huge cabinet in my living room. Jessie knows the one I'm talking about! It's a monster! I've been wanting to paint it for years now and this summer I plan on doing it finally!!

Play Kitchen!

My mom came to visit a few weeks ago and I got her to help me with a project I had been wanting to do. We made a play kitchen for the girls out of an old entertainment center! I think it turned out pretty cute. I don't have any "real" before pictures, but I did snap some when we had primed it so enjoy!

Losing Weight!

So I have been trying to lose weight since Oct. of 2010. I vowed to lose as much as possible while David is deployed. I want to suprise him with a new me! I have lost 43lbs so far, I really wish it was more, but I'm grateful for that much. I was scheduled to have bariatric surgery on March 30th, but I have postponed the surgery until David gets home! I am really hoping that I can lose enough that I won't need the sugery anymore. I have recently bought an exercise bike and I've been riding it for an hour a day, plus walking during the week! I am so excited to see the #'s on the scale going down. It's a great feeling. This is the start to a new and healthy me!

Emiliee's Birthday catch-up!

Well since I blogged about Holly's birthday, I should probably write a little something about Em's. Her birthday was in Oct and she turned 8. It is an exciting age because she can be baptized. She was baptized on her birthday and it was a wonderful experience. Afterwards she had a huge celebration at Chuck E Cheese with lots of friends!! I love this girl!

Holly turned 2!

Holly turned 2 on the 24th. I can't believe that my baby girl is 2 already. I can't believe my other baby girl is 8 already! It was a bittersweet birthday, David is gone so he wasn't here to celebrate with us. He's going to be missing alot of things while he's gone! But, that's the life of a military family. We didn't have a party, we just had some cake and ice cream after church and she got her gifts and some pretty balloons. I am so grateful to have Holly in our family. We've been through alot these last 2 years and she sure has kept us on our toes. I love my princesses!

Merry Christmas!

This Christmas was not the same without having David here to celebrate it with us! We were able to talk to him this am/ his pm. He is well! Tired from a long shift. The girls had a great time opening presents this morning. We had a great Christmas Morning breakfast, that I was able to cook entirely before the kiddos awoke! I am so Grateful for this season, and all that it means. For the spirit of service and charity! But most of all for the opportunity to celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ! How grateful I am to have knowledge of and faith in our Lord! His Gospel is true and beautiful. It is Awesome to know that I can be with my family for eternity!
