MTC

We dropped Tyler off at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, UT on July 11th at 12:30 pm.  Tyler just about jumped out of the van before Lon had stopped at the curb.  Tyler was so excited to be at the MTC and be on his mission, something he has been dreaming about and preparing for his whole life.  He will be in the MTC for 8 weeks while he starts to learn Portuguese.  He will be serving in the Portugal Lisbon Mission.

Andrew Mission call

Andrew (nephew, cousin) received his mission call.  He is going to Los Angeles, CA Spanish speaking.  He goes into the MTC on July 25th, 2 weeks after Tyler.  Congratulations, Andrew.  We are excited for you!

Young Women's conference 2012

My mom and I had the opportunity to go with the young women and their moms in our ward to Salt Lake City. We got there early so we went to the visitor's center, the Beehive house, conference center, and the Joseph Smith building. We had so much fun.

One night when we were putting our children to bed, Brianna found a tutu and put it on. Suddenly, she became silly. She is so much fun!

Portugal!

Tyler, our oldest son, opened his mission call on February 29th with us via Google+. He will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Portugal Lisbon mission. He will be speaking Portuguese. He is going into the Provo MTC on July 11th. We are all so excited!
