The First of Many!

Mike didn't have a patient this morning so decide to book an appointment for Ms. Brooklyn. She did so awesome! He brushed her teeth and then painted them with a fluoride varnish. She was so patient. Although it doesn't sound like much we were there for about an hour and a half. She even let the doc. check out her mouth with the mirror, she just laid back on his lap! She is a pro at saying,"awwwwww"! Here are a couple pics! I'm sad we didn't get one with Mike in it, but we'll be back in 6 months and be sure to get one then! I'm so proud of lil' Brooke and Doc to be, Mike!

The weather is finally cooling off! It was a shocker to hear the high was only going to be 54 today! Mike and I spent most of the morning getting some stuff done around the house. We did a little painting, a little cleaning and Mike cut the grass. After Brooklyn's afternoon nap we thought we'd bundle up and go play in the leaves! She loved it!

Four Things I Love About My Husband:
1. His bum!! He actually has a bum and I love it! He claims it's from riding his bike on his mission. I'm not sure if that's true...but i love it none the less~
2. When he talks and smiles at the same time. I talked to him at lunch today and as soon as he said hello I knew he was having a good day. I could tell he was smalking!! I just made that up!
3. His passion for sports. Yeah I know...I can't believe I just typed that! It's kind of a love hate thing! It's fun to watch him get so into a game. It's most entertaining when "his team" is losing! I hope he doesn't read this!
4. I love to see him get excited. Whether it's a good grade or watching Brooklyn experience a "first", it makes me happy to see him so happy.

Mom and Dad

This is so frustrating. I feel like i don't know how to do anything but write random thoughts with this blog. Maybe that's the point, but i'd love to add some tunes or something to spruce it up a little. And the funny thing is, my mom is the only one i've told about this thing. So I guess I should say hi mom! And I'm sure she will share this with my dad, so hi dad! I love you guys! I most definitely was blessed with the greatest parents in the world. I can't wait until I get to see you agian! I have a feeling it may be sooner than later! Love you.

Rainy Day

Brooklyn and I couldn't help but rush out of the house for a walk before it started raining again. Although the scenery of the graveyard where we walked was not the most glamorous, it was so nice to get out of the house and get some fresh air. There's something about the air when it rains that I just love. Mike makes fun of me because I always feel a need to know the current temperature. But if it wasn't for my strange obsession I wouldn't be able to share that the temperature jumped 6 degrees from the time I walk out the door to the time I returned 20min. later! It jumped from 59-65. Am I the only crazy one that finds that amusing?!

Just the Beginning

So, my dear friend Abby introduced me to the world of blogging! This is just what I need, something else to keep me infront of this screen when I should be doing something productive with my time. I justify it through all the friends and family that will hopefully enjoy seeing what we've been up to way over here in the eastern boonies!
