Introduction to John J Twomey

Welcome to my blog Mark and Janet!

So as part of my reflective practice I will be updating my blog on my thoughts on UCC lectures I attend and interest me and I will also like to get the opportunity to get to post articles on information that I find relevant and interesting to my current practice of becoming Art,Craft and Design teacher.

                    

This is my third venture into blogging and website building www.johnjtwomey.com and online networking in general. I welcome blogging its the future and will like to think the future education system will have more online, IT related  activities I will like to introduce the idea of online resources to my pupils in the future years as its an important transition from old Irish education system to a new more innovative system with unlimited possibilities.

A bit of brief history about myself I am Cork born and breed , after my leaving cert and 6 years of secondary school education at Douglas Community School I attended a PLC course in Art,Craft & Design at Colaiste Stiofain Naofa. I then attended CCAD for a further 4 years and graduating this year with a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts majoring in Sculpture.I am currently undertaking the Higher Diploma in Art and Design Education with every intention of finding a job and to teach next year.....here's hoping!
