Rock Star

While getting Drake dressed this morning this is what transpired...

Me: Drake your shirt says your Momma's Rock Star, you are my little Rock Star.
(I was getting out his shirt and pants and he noticed something I forgot)

Summer images

These are just a few of the things that transpired over our summer...a trip to Telluride for the 4th of July...the kids were able to decorate a float and be in the parade. 
We celebrated Drake's 3rd birthday with a trip to Chuck-E-Cheese

A viewing of the final Harry Potter...love the cool 3-day classes

There are many memories that weren't captured, because I am horrible about taking my camera with me...but we spent countless days at the pool, made several trips to Six Flags, and Brynn and I made a very fun surprise birthday trip out to Sacramento to visit Nanna, Uncle Erik and Bodhi and then over to Reno to see our BFF's, the Bowens.  It was too much fun and now I am just sad the months of freedom are over.

And then there was one....

I've just sent my oldest 3 off to school and I am here with my little spiderman to fill a really long day.  It was harder than I thought to send Chase to school with his older two siblings...time goes too fast!  Kohl was very sweet with Chase today, giving him the tricks of the trade and promising to take him to his classroom and watching out for him.  Chase wouldn't let me take him to school today, insisting on riding the bus with the fourth and fifth graders...ouch!  We had an awesome summer and played as hard as humanly possible and I am exhausted!  I am now heading back to bed where Drake is still sleeping.

One tradition I won't miss

I love the last day of school...can you see the excitement on my tired face.  Chase was so happy about the day, that he slept right through it.  It is also his last day of preschool, I will get a better picture of him when he wakes up, but I wanted to get this post up before I forgot about it and ruined my tradition.  Drake is just happy to pose for any picture, of course then he had to take my picture in return.  Out of all of the kids, he has changed to most over the past 9 months.  Here is to a great school year.  The kids both had amazing teachers and this made them happy to go to school everyday.  Thank heaven for good teachers, I applaud them all for they do something I could never do!!!
