How did I spend my last day of 2006? Definitely not stone at home the whole day. That was out of the question lol. I woke up at 1pm. Oh my. only 11 hours left of the last day. Chiong-ed out out of the house by 2pm to meet up with Ken for Death Note 2: The Last Name
I must admit Death Note 1 was better, but Death Note 2 wasn't that bad either. The ending was totally unexpected in this continued saga of a clash of wits between 2 geniuses. Who's smarter anyway? But the last scene was rather unnecessary. 4 out of 5 stars. A movie not to be missed. Especially when you have watched Death Note 1. Cos the first scene of Death Note 2 is the last scene of Death Note 1. A totally continued story.
Ken insisted on going home after the movie. We were supposed to be meeting up with Douglas for dinner so I met up with Douglas instead. He managed to get Tim out and we went to eat at Secret Recipe. My sis works there. Thanks to her, we had 20% off the bill and a free cup of ice lemon tea =P
Hais. 3 hours left after dinner. We spent it watching "Curse of the Golden Flower". Yep. 2nd movie for me in a day. I guess my last 2 hours of my life was wasted. Totally. If I compared the Convenant to this movie by Jay Chou and Gong Li, the Convenant would have been better. 0.5 out of 5 stars. "Curse of the Golden Flower" is totally a movie deserving to be MISSED. Please don't watch it. Trust me. It will seriously render you speechless. No climax, extremely slow storyline and boring battle scenes. A totally pathetic movie.
Omg. And that's how I spent my last day of 2006. HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE! WELCOME 2007!!!
Oh and I just received a christmas card super late. Cos the unit number was written as 444. There's no unit 444 around here. So the postman put it in 447. But 447 probably passed it to 445. And 445 knew me. So 445 wanted to pass it to me at 433. But noone was in. So it was passed to my neighbour, 435. And eventually I just received it. Nice journey for a letter. =d
Orientation refresher course must have totally exhausted me out! Cos I set my alarm for 8am. And I overslept till 9:30 in the end. I had a meeting at 9am. It was a huge OMG when I woke up. Basically teleported to school. But the teleporter was a bit broken down and slow, so I reached school at 10am.
I heard Ms Goh intended to end the briefing by morning. But it went all the way till 1pm anyway. At least we still get to eat lunch instead of dinner.
Lots of stuffs to do. CCA Carnival after Orientation. Gosh. Where's the time?
Most of us went for lunch after the meeting. And for some reason, Jia Min knew that Bishan J8 opened Pepper Lunch yet me and Han Bin had no idea. To think we both live in Bishan.
Oh my. Pepper Lunch! I was craving for it the other day. But noone wanted to go eat there. And it has come all the way to Bishan food court! Pepper Lunch Express. No service charge/gst. No "free" drink. And of cos much cheaper than the original Pepper Lunch restaurant.
Hahahahahas. Finally a good addition to the boring food court. But I dun think can takeaway Pepper Lunch. Lol. And its not cheap. I better watch my budget.
HAPPY COUNTING DOWN TMR PPLE!

Its ok with me not to go to places where I ain't expected. I don't think many people noticed me missing. So it was ok I guess.
Oh my. I slept at 3am. And I had to go for OGL refresher course at 8am! But the attendance today was terrible anyway. I alr knew a lot of pple who will go missing. Lol.
The whole day was super hectic and tiring. I was extremely exhausted. And all the protocols were wearing down on me. Then finally the day came to an end.
Cougario went out for dinner together at Pastamania J8. Hahahahas. We made a huge din at the place.
Oh and I found another KCP ex-schoolmate. Someone from 3E long long ago. Lol. I was in 3F. She said she found my name familiar. I guess affinity just doesn't stop there. Maybe I will meet my ex-classmates soon.

Ah ha. I should have blogged 2 days ago. But I was too lazy. Anw the Xmas party was great! Any gathering of us would have been fantastic.
We met at Velocity(Novena Square) at 1pm and of cos I didn't expect anyone to be early. I reached on the same train as Tx (I didn't know) slightly off-timing, and everyone else arrived drastically off-timing.
We went to eat at Fish & Co. Someone actually told me Fish & Co. was something similar to Mcdonalds. I looked and it and thought. Ok. Now in what way does this place look like Mcdonalds? Gosh. The contrast..
Anyway we went to Chris's house directly after that. It was raining. Has been the whole day. I think we pia-ed mahjong the whole day. Had the present exchange and a group photo. And I just realised that was practically our 1st group photo! I can't seem to retrieve any previous photos.. Cos not everyone present.
Oh I got a classical music Cd-rom from Douglas. + a nice card + a ribbon + a wrapping paper
I was told to keep all 4. Dots.
Dinner took place at the prata house. I still think milo+coffee is a unique mix.
Tim's parents gave me a ride home. Thanks again =D I couldn't have gone back dry in that weather!
Ken msged me that his Internet was down in the morning. Then mine was down too. My neighbour's Internet was down too. I was wondering if a satellite had been shot out of space.. Then ltr I found out that earthquakes in Taiwan had damaged some underwater cables which killed the Internet across Asia. Singnet came back to life rather soon. Starhub was restored at night.
Wad's cables doing at Taiwan of all places anyway? Aiya. Doesn't matter. My Internet is up already. That's all that matters. But some overseas websites still can't be visited. Jeez. So much for an earthquake at this time.

Today was such a busy Christmas day! Woke up darn early to go do Physics project at Nashita's house. I think I turned up a bit late. A bit. Ok maybe not just a bit. Slightly ba.
Anw we spent the whole day trialing our experiments and typing the reports. For some reason I never remembered Sembawang had a shopping centre. That might be cos I haven't been there for about 8 years. Or I have been inobservant.
Tx suddenly called me to go help him out at J8 at 5. And coincidentally we dismissed ourselves at 4:45. So I went to find out what help he needed. Turns out he was at J8 to buy stationery, food, icecream and presents. Wow. Food referred to 4 huge packets of catered food, some sauce and a BIG cake.
And I was going to buy snacks and drinks for tmr's party. Oh yes. I bought enough for 10 pple to eat. So dun worry about any lack of food =)) But do finish the food.
So by some miracle we dragged 15kg of food into a cab and somehow Tx managed to get home with all that.
Lol. So much for Christmas Day. Merry Christmas!! =))

Didn't do much today. Went down for tuition at Orchard Plaza. Oh my god. The number of pple attending the class was a lot. Seems like the last lesson was one of those very few pple class.
Everyone went home after tuition. Dots. I wanted to go look for christmas presents in Orchard again. But no point going alone. So I went home too. J8 has nothing much. I went through many floors.
Went home feeling not right. Dunno why. Like sudden exhaustion. And my chest was hurting me again. Maybe that's why.
Argh. I haven't bought christmas presents. And I ain't done with the christmas cards yet. Seems like they will be new year cards instead. Lol. It takes ages to finish those cards up. And wad abt the present?? >_< I will think about that ltr. Lol.

Wah. Even I surprise myself. Guess what? I have been down in town for 12 hours today. My legs are gonna break. Shopping is fun-er than I thought. After spending god knows how long roaming around, I only bought a bit of stuff. But yea, its interesting to explore all the shops around. Was intending to scout for Christmas presents today. But I only managed to find half of what I was looking for. I am needing another adventure soon. Lol. Another 12 hours?
I woke up super early today at 8am. Early enough to eat breakfast. I haven't done that for quite some time. Met up with Chris and Tian Xiang down at Dhoby Ghaut at 10:30 to catch "Eragon" at The Cathay.
One thing I noticed about movies whose storyline originates from books is that they tend to speed up the storyline in the actual movie itself. But that didn't spoil my impression of the movie. The scenery and scenarios were fabulous. Makes me wonder if such places really exist on Earth. Even if they were digitally drawn, I must say that they did a pretty good job. Nice movie, definitely MUCH better than "The Convenant". The Convenant had no storyline AND no good scenes. I remember I gave it 0.5 stars?
I don't really mind fast storylines that much. Considering the movie as a whole, I would rate it 3.5~4 stars. Yup. Better a fast storyline than a poor storyline. It somehow reminds me of Lord of The Rings. Running with enemies chasing behind. Hahs. Elves and dwarves. These characters just don't miss out on a movie like this, do they?
But the storyline itself is pretty original. Dragon riders. I haven't heard of dragons bonding themselves to riders before. Usually the dragons work independently, somewhat monitoring the peace in the world with their might. Or rather that's what the dragons in the Warcraft series do. Until they had their internal conflict which messed them all up.
Oh. Speaking of Warcraft, I saw a "Warcraft Archives" book in a bookstore today. It had the 4 warcraft stories which I haven't read! I want to read them!! But its $30! Argh. I can't spare the budget for now. Maybe I will go purchase it when I save up.
Oo Its 12am already as I am typing this. Happy Birthday Sis!!!
Oh and I finally got the time to give some quick replies:
Tx & Chris: You both live in the middle of nowhere. So Bishan is the best. Settled =)
Joey: Lol. Too bad there's nth gd to eat near AJ either. Noone wants to eat in AJ. I miss breakfast club =(( Marina Bay gt good food anywhere? Recommend!!!
Tx: It will be fun!!! If you stay over that is =P But I know all the umm.. standard operating procedures. yea. So we will make it as FUN as we can b4 u zao!

There's only 2 more weeks to the new year! And I am creating a lot of new stuffs.
For one, I am lowering the profile of "luke281913" and changing my online nick to [xC]. So that it will save the effort of typing so many letters and rmb-ing 6 random numbers for many pple. Lol.
And of cos the new blogskin. Actually its cos many pple cant enter my blog and i dno why. Though I suspect its got sth to do with the song on my blog. So the song's removed and the skin's changed.
Its now a nice, expressive, emotional, touching, inspirational blogskin about how life is a joke. A joke played against us that is. Hahs. But dno why the blogskin only take up slightly more than half of the screen. Not that it matters really.
So HAPPY NEW YEAR pple. Have you all got your new year aspirations?
I wish for world peace and finished homework. Yep. Maybe I will have more new year aspirations soon.

Our class's SL project was finally held today. I woke up at 6am after 3.5 hours of sleep >_< Damn. All Dota's fault. Then I thought of all the stuff I had to bring to Pasir Ris. And that I had to change train on the way, And that I probably had to stand throughout the whole journey. So I took bus 58 directly to Pasir Ris interchange instead. I found out later that bus 53 went to our destination directly.
Reached Pasir Ris Mrt 20 min late. Cos buses generally don't fly from Bishan to Pasir Ris at an amazing speed. We waited a while for everyone else to turn up and headed over to the home.
Everything went somewhat smoother than I expected. Although it was kinda obvious that we were ill-prepared. All that and all the "behind the scenes action" that a minority knew about. It messed up the SL project badly.
At the end of everything, Mrs Yim asked me what I thought of the SL project as a whole. I said it was ok. Better than I thought it would go. She said I had low expectations. Correction: I had no expectations. She said the planning was distinctly done badly. Correction: There was no planning. A planning stage should be done with people. If you infer from the last few SL rehearsals, you can see that the planning stage totally fell through.
So generally I would say more than half the people turned up with no idea what was going to happen. But probably the only good thing is that we tried our best to adapt to the situation. I can see that. Regarding the “behind the scenes” issues as Mrs Yim quoted it, if you still don’t know what actually happened; we are in a fix because of it. I only hope for the better. And I hope they won’t pursue the issue. As I quote from myself, its all the result of a “communication breakdown”. Such things are common aren’t they?
Today was a great day. Too bad it couldn’t seem to stop raining. Speaking of which, some people’s houses are starting to get flooded. Oh yes. Don’t worry. The news said the rain will stop. On Friday. =)) Isn’t that good news? The rain will stop!
Don’t worry people. The day when my house gets flooded because of water levels is the day when most people aren’t worrying anymore. I live on the 10th storey. That’s why. Its important to know how to swim. A river has flooded cos of the rain and has flowed onto the nearby road. The current CAN swim people away. Its rather unusual for a thunderstorm to be raging for so long though. But its going away.
Yesterday, after lightning flashed, thunder struck nearly half a second later. That means the thunderstorm was probably less than 1km from me. Today, after lightning flashed, thunder struck about 6 seconds later. That means the thunderstorm is around 6km away. Its going further and further away. I hope the rain stops before Fri. Its getting kinda irritating.
Cool weather is fine. But cold weather is not. Brrrrr. I can’t go out to buy supper in this storm. Brb. I am gonna dig out any random food in the cupboard.
All in all, my comments as of above are all based on self-opinion. You can agree or disagree with them, but you cannot deny that I have these opinions. I am not discriminating against any individuals. I only wish that the class could have done better as a whole.

I just finished watching Silent Hill today. A bit lag but yea. Cos the dl was kinda slow. Lol.
This movie is very very gross. The director and producer seems to like tearing people apart. There was one scene where a girl's skin was ripped off her. Omg la. A lot of gore.
But I don't get the ending. They didn't wrap it up properly. I don't know what happened to them in the end.
They didn't explain a lot of stuff.. Up to our imagination perhaps?
Class SL is tmr. I am so not looking foward to it.
Hahs. Just came back from tuition. No the tuition wasn't that long of cos. I spent most of the time eating dinner and studying with Jing Kang and Qing Wen. All the way till 11pm. But I think we spent a lot of that time chatting too. Lol.
Anyway apparently there wasn't a lot of people turning up for tuition today. Everyone is busy overseas or at camp or chalet or missing in action. So only 6 people including me were at the tuition today. I knew 5 of them including myself. So er. Does that count as knowing half the class or 83.33% of the class? Haha. All the Bishan-ers + Cat High-ians.
But most of the Bishan-ers I know live in Bishan North. Dunno why. I stay in Bishan East. Its so near to J8 and the MRT. So why is everyone living in Bishan North where they need to take a bus to go to Bishan Central?
Oh ya I met Jia Ying on my way to tuition too. Apparently she lives right at the block where my tuition centre is. I was wondering what she was doing there also.. I forgot she lives in Bishan too. Lol.
Everyone lives in Bishan. Bishan is a nice place to live in. Come live in Bishan today! =)) 2010 got Circle Line! Can go everywhere from Bishan sia!

Lol I had this funny dream last night. I was previously discussing with Chris and Tian Xiang about catching Eragon after their chalets, and I found out that their chalets started and ended on the same day.
Then in my dream, I dreamt that I went for my class chalet. Den at the place, I met Chris at his chalet. I saw Joey and Chi Hong with him. Dunno is class chalet or choir chalet. Lol. After that, I turned around and saw Tian Xiang. Apparently all 3 of us were having our chalets at the same place.
So we agreed to meet up to go catch Eragon after that. Hahs. Funny dream.
Darn it. Its still raining pouring. I am going for a new tuition class later. Physics again. I quitted my previous tuition class just before promos. So now I am joining a new one. And guess what? I already know more than half the people there. Lol.
Surprise to all the people who will be seeing me later!

Hm. How shall I comment on our class's final SL rehearsal? Maybe for the first time, we got half the class turning up. Yep. 50% is so fantastic.
I don't wanna know how our SL will turn out. Seriously. Most of the people have no link on what's going on and I don't even think we will get 75% of the class on the actual SL.
But nevertheless, there are still quite a few of us with the spirit and enthusiasm to make this class project a success. Keep it up pple, we got more to work for.

I watched "Trust The Man" today. I would rate it 3.5 stars. Mainly for the lack of subtitles. The start of the story was rather confusing but once you grasp the storyline, it begins to get interesting. How would I evaluate the storyline in 3 words? Sex. Life. Trust.
Lol. Although there was a lack of subtitles, it was distinct that the characters were talking about their sexual life. I don't know how many positions and styles I heard. I didn't count. There was a major highlight on that part, so er.. I wun prefer to elaborate.
The movie also presented the more 'open' lifestyle of Americans today.(They are Americans right? Pardon me if I am wrong.) In Singapore, shaking of hands is the usual greeting. Some don't even do so. As shown in the movie, the characters greet each other with hugs and kisses. Imagine that in Singapore. Unlikely eh?
Trust. Nothing much to say on this. Just have faith in your family and friends. Trust them.
Of cos. This show has many funny scenes. But you will need to be able to catch what they are saying to grasp the joke of cos.
OGL workshop is over. Aw. To think it was starting to get fun. But I am tired. I need a break.
Puma became the overall best house for the workshop. I was half-expecting it already. They got a good leader to spur them on. I think Cougario's 2nd. I just know it =P
We finished our wonderful flags today. Yay dun need to come back and finish up le. Anyways. Here's a pic of us painting =)) Yep. That's our Ancient flag.

The 2nd day of OGL workshop was so much better... it was fantastic =D Truly had fun today hahas. Half-way through the banner painting for Acrodia. And we officially learnt 'That Girl' today. They changed a few dance moves. Wah lau. I need to wipe my previous memory of the dance now.
I think I can conclude that the people who turned up for the workshop today were the people that will eventually be involved in orientation. 14 of us. We will rock Orientation 2007. Vrala!
Guess wad? Cougars actually can't roar. Their voice boxes are different from the other big cats, therefore they can make small sounds, but they can't roar. A bit ironic, cos the theme for Orientation is Vrala! which means ROAR! Hahs.

Had my 1st day of OGL workshop. Dots. It wasn't as good as I thought. The food was terrible less than super. My main concern as usual. The psychological welfare debate =P
Honestly I was a little disappointed at the attendance of Cougario. Cos there were too many pple missing. But our house captain did put in a lot of effort. Three cheers for that. Haha. We still did well.
I realised what a difference winning a game can make to a whole group. Until the point when we won the game, our energy level was low. But when we won that game, everyone hyped up instantly. Enthusiasm is important. Teamwork is important. Cougario have both. Gogogogo Cougario!
All in all, the games were ok. But 'London Bridge' might be a little on the unsafe side. I hope wet games are better. The fun's usually in wet games XD. That's all for OGL workshop den. Gtg. Might update more ltr.
I saw someone using a 20% discount voucher to a high extent at Popular today. That was a lot of random stuff + about 10+ assessment books. Lol. 20% also dun need to use until like that wad. Save more.. but also spend more. I feel so sad for the kids. Primary sch do so much assessment for wad.. not like do more will get high marks. and not like do less will get low marks. Hahs.

AJ Prom Night was held last night at Meritus Mandarin Hotel! Haha I am kinda typing this in a hurry.. Quite exhausted from last night already.. was doing PS duty with 5 others there.. came home at about 11.55pm. And after a 6 hour rest I got to go to school again for my OGL workshop. But the poor council is working OT at the hotel till everything's cleared up, and they are going back to school directly from the hotel. I feel lucky enough. The interesting thing is that many of the non-council pple helping out dere in some way or the other last night were OGLs. Hahs. All getting worn out.
Prom night was pretty successful. Nice emcees. Should hand it to them.
But like the saying goes, a picture says a thousand words. No point saying too much here, the photos tell the best story. Hahs. and I gtg school nw. Cya.

Spent about 10 whole hours archiving my music database today. I am about 90% done with the task. Hahs. Not like I nth to do la. Just wanted a neater music library. At least now I can find a song much much faster.
Eragon is coming out on the 13th. Death Note 2 on the 28th. I am definitely watching these 2. I wonder why they released Death Note 1 and 2 so close to each other. Unless they can act out and film a movie very fast, Death Note 1 has prob been released long ago in Japan. Singapore is slow. Hahs.
Got a busy week ahead. Tmr I wun be online the whole day. Will be out for a lot of stuffs till 12am.
Then OGL workshop all the way. My busiest week since the hols started XD. Soon I will realise that I have no time for homework. And I ain't planning to do it. Should I say my house caught fire and just nice all the homework burnt up?
But that's a lousy excuse. Teachers grow smarter nowadays. A lot of the stupid homework is online. Sigh.
Maybe my com can't support IVLE. It crashes every time I try to do my homework. Sounds good =P

There might be a Goong 2 after Goong. Read on some forums that they have already confirmed the actors for Goong 2. So it will prob come out after all.
According to the 'information', the story is about a prince who doesn't know he is a prince. And he eventually returns to the palace. Also, the palace finds out that they have a royal bloodline outside of the palace. Remember when the princess 'vomitted' at the last few minutes of the last episode? That's prob the bloodline they are referring to. Its a baby girl I think.
I wonder if all this info is true.
I am getting bored at home as usual. Currently randomly looking for movies I failed to watch last time and looking foward to upcoming movies.
I wanna watch Eragon. When's it coming out? Anyone wanna go watch it with me?

December is here. I pre-planned to start doing homework in Dec. Maybe starting in Jan was ok too. Ahhh. Homework is so boring. So is life. Yea. Everything's made up of boring stuff.
After living my 2nd day of torturous pain every second, I am starting to get used to it. I can't even sleep properly for gods sake. Still haven't regained my appetite so I am still generally living on instant noodles. No appetite to eat wad. So I dun notice that i should eat something b4 i become the 1st person in Singapore to die of hunger in a long time until its past 10pm. I am getting so unhealthy.
With Dec comes OGL workshop and finally sth to do. Chris's coming back tmr with a new game i asked him to buy. Maybe sth to entertain me for 2 days or so. I went to download another game too. It wore off me after 3 hours. Used to think that game was fun. But things get boring after a while.
So er.. since Dec is so wonderful and yea.. let me entertain everyone with a story I just thought of.
The boy began his story. He typed 2 sentences. Yea and this is the third sentence. And we are finally on the 4th sentence. Ok this is lame. The boy's hungry. And he ended with 7 sentences.
Nice story yea? Oh yes. To welcome the 1st of Dec. Happy Birthday Cindy!!!
No more junk food for me. I am gonna go out and get sth to eat. Wish that food court would open soon. I would love having a food court 1 min from my house. So next time if I am so hungry I can't even walk, I can crawl there at least. Wun take long with a food court so close =D
