I went on my manhunt today for a 100GB+ hard drive.
It was getting absolutely necessary, considering my computer have been living on and off less than 500mb of space for the past 2 weeks.
That's a miserable amount of space if you ain't sure how much is 500mb. Anything below 200mb and your computer alarms will start flashing. It comes in the form of a small bubble saying: "Your computer is running low on disc space."
Not much of an alarm, but computers will disfunction when they have too low physical memory to perform their tasks.

So, based on a 2006 bus guide, I took bus 57 down to Sim Lim Square.
I later found out that they changed the bus route for bus 57 after the bus guide was published. Luckily, the bus still went to Sim Lim Square, so I didn't end up in the middle of nowhere in Wonderland.

Sim Lim Square. My 3rd or 4th time there? It's a agglomeration of IT stores selling everything ranging from digital cameras, computers, laptops to video games. Its the world of electronics to some aspect. I remember seeing a massage parlour there. Talk about randomness.

After walking around, I realised that prices were inversely proportional to the storey level in Sim Lim Square. Is it because of the higher rent at lower levels that they had to charge higher prices? As I went higher up, I realised that the prices started falling. So I found my hard drive on the 5th storey. A 160gb one, for $99. I don't really think I necessary got the best deal, but I just wanted to get one and go home. So yep. This's a good enough deal for me. A 3.5" one, weighing a hefty 1kg, and bulky to some extent. But its ok. I am keeping it at home.

I have already used up 14gb of my new hard drive, and at the same time freeing 7gb off my computer. Eh. Where did the 7gb come from? Lol. Let's see. I starting spamming installations. Lol.

In particular, a Matrix PC game: Path of Neo.
Before that, I had been reading reviews for the game. The reviews rated the game badly, crushing it as a waste of time and a pathetic game. After playing it, I thought I couldn't agree better. This was, a classic lousy game. If you want to play it, play your own music. Their background music is monotonous and boring.
But I am curious about the 100 Smith fight. That would have been interesting. And that's all that's giving me an incentive.
Zzz. I just love the quote from one reviewer. "Halfway through I felt like taking the CD and throwing it out of the window".

Oh and I had some random good news today. Singnet just randomly sent a letter notifying that they have just upgraded my internet speed to 1MBPS from 512KBPS.
That's a total surprise. I wonder what Singnet is celebrating. The change was noticable since the clock struck 12. My sudden increase in download speed totally surprised me. Haha. Seems like I can download stuffs at half the time taken now =))

CJC Drama Concert this Friday on the 1st of June. Interested patrons please contact Timothy at 97656585. 1 ticket for $10. 10 tickets for $80. Buy your tickets today!
If you wish to purchase only 5 tickets, please contact me instead. Lol.

Finally, after 2(or was it 3?) months of hard pia-ing for the Chinese A level retest, we took the test today.
One word to describe the paper: shocking
It was about twice as hard as the end of year paper last year. Kinda made me regret not studying hard enough for the paper last year. So, I didn't really get a choice at a retake that was so difficult, did I?
But come to think of it, since the paper was so difficult, not many people will score well at this paper. That's the only optimistic thing I can think of at the moment.
I felt more confident for this test than when I did the test last Novemember. Last Nov, I felt horrible after the test, knowing that I had lost my 'A' grade. But this time, though I still unsure, but I felt better. Hopefully. I am hoping for the best.

What made the paper hard? All the questions were unexpected. They were off the norm. The chinese terms and phrases tested were horribly difficult.
One particular thing was about the 50 words and the 70 words questions in the first and last 阅读理解. While we had been doing the 50 words one on feelings and the 70 words one on a summary of a passage all along, the exam today required us to do a content-based question for the 50 words one and a perspective-based question on the 70 words one. It was totally unexpected.

But I did write a lot for 阅读理解(3). Lol. I estimated that I wrote about 500+ words for that part not counting the 70 words question. I think I wrote about 700+ words for my composition only in comparison. I hope I managed to hit the bullseye. If not, I am going to be expecting a 'B' grade or even a 'C' grade this time.

严老师 said that I had to get 'A' this time. If not, she would be horribly disappointed. I really hope I don't get the chance to disappoint her. I really hope not. I would also really like to thank her for her efforts in us for the past 3 months. I am extremely grateful to her guidance and efforts all the while and I believe the rest of us feels the same. Thanks 严老师!

Ok. After all, its over. I shan't talk about it anymore though I have already mentioned a lot about it. Haha. After all, 谋事在人, 成事在天. I have tried already. I shall have no regrets. If I don't get an 'A' this time, I might even consider re-taking again. I am determined to get an 'A'.

After the Chinese exam, I met up with Zheng Kai, Chris and Ken later to catch "Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End" at Yishun. I expected a long show. After all, it was 170 minutes long. That's a long 2 hours and 50 minutes.
Everyone arrived late except Zheng Kai. He even came early. Surprise? =P

We sat down just in time to hear the "off your mobile phones" notice. Lol.
One minute later and we would have missed the starting.
But what a pity. The advertisements were usually interesting. Pity I had to miss that too.
So.. the movie was better compared to Spiderman 3. Though it was longer.
While Spiderman was draggy, something was always happening in POTC.
Be it Jack Sparrow talking to himself or just random pirates, I didn't feel the sense of dragginess which I felt in Spiderman.
A good show. Don't miss it. And remember to get some food. You might just starve in there. Its 170 minutes, mind you.
I am rating it 4.5 out of 5 stars. There's not enough humor in this show. Lol.
Its actually pretty amazing how in all 3 episodes, Jack Sparrow can walk in a ship under fire with the whole ship exploding around him, yet he never get even a scratch.
Oh, and remember how the Black Pearl was horribly mutiliated and sunk by the Kraken in the Dead Man's Chest? In At World's End, the ship was somehow repaired despite all the damage and was at peak condition. Lol. No idea how that happened, but it happened anyway.

Shan't do any more spoilers. Remember to catch the show! But spare yourself 3 hours to do so =)

Yea. Thanks to everyone who came for the seminar on Saturday.

The whole thing was pretty smooth except for the technical screw-up we ran into in the morning.
For some reason, while our rehearsal ran smoothly, on the day itself, the visual could not be projected onto the screen.
We brought in another laptop. It had video but no audio. Oh man. We took 1 hour working on it.
In the end, we used 1 laptop to run the video and the other to run the audio. Lol.

Ok, we gotta learn to be flexible I guess. Everyone adapted pretty well.

It seemed like a short while before it was the Sports presentation.
Whew. And it was only a short while before the whole thing was over, effectively ending my last job scope in PS!

Hahaha. Was so happy after that.
We announced the Exco and that was the end of my 1.25 years in PS.

How the last 1.25 years has flown past.
I really did enjoy myself all this while.
Thanks so much to everyone else in PS.

It was great being with you guys all this while.
I really have much to say but I guess I will leave it as it is for the moment.
Gotta study for my Chinese.

Hope we will keep in contact.

Imagine yourself living in a world where everyone around you are just actors.
They are all pretenders. Nothing is real except yourself.
You are in a world where noone is real to you.

Your life is a play. The people around you are the actors.
You are yourself. They act according to a script. And the script revolves around your life. The script adapts itself according to your life.

Think. Is your life reality? Is what you perceive real? If all the people around you are pretenders, but you do not know, will that be bliss or imprisonment?

One day, you wake up. You find out that everyone has been lying to you. Everyone has been pretending. You have been controlled all along. Your life was being directed. In actual fact, you had no freedom. You never had. You had only lived in a world of lies, in a world of pretence. Even your best friend was yet another pretender. Your wife was an actor. Noone had been real to you.

Run away? Yea. Sure. How? Everywhere you go, they are watching you. Run? To where?

I watched Spiderman 3 today with jx and chris. Like.. finally?

The show was very draggy in the middle!! They took forever to highlight the relations between Spidey and MJ. And that occupied much of the show itself.

But based on everything I evaluated, I think Parker is one insensitive spider. Seriously, Harry would have been a better choice than Parker for MJ.
She couldn't even get comfort from Parker or find anyone to talk to.

And all Spidey was interested in was to raise his own publicity.
He should be shot la. I wonder why MJ never dumped him earlier.

For some reason, the moral of the story was about friendship.
Something about the importance of friends. Didn't really catch it. And I didn't catch any nice music either. That's it then.

The A levels Chinese re-test is in one week's time. Whoa. Fast, isn't it?
We had a preparation test today. 4.30pm to 7.30pm. A very omg timing.
Anyways. The test was pretty much ok. Though the compo was one of the most vague few I have seen.

The main paper was much smoother than expected.
Anyways. Its only a mock test. Not very important anyway.

Hm. Hope I get an A this time. Jia you to everyone else with me =)

Once again, my patience was tested.
Once again, it was tested to its limits.
And once again, I stormed out of the house, coming back only when it was late.

I was in a good mood. I swear I was. Who wouldn't be in a good mood if you heard your dreaded test got postponed?
But he had to come back early. It was ok at first. I shut myself in my room to avoid a quarrel with him. I promised my mom not to quarrel with him. I had to hold that promise.

Then, he went overboard. He began to irritate me, even though I had already shut myself in my room. Where else can I go in this small house?
I stormed out of the house, into the cold night, alone, my heart burning against the cold with anger.
It was the best I could do to avoid a quarrel.
Sometimes I really wish I didn't have to go home. My mom works late into the night, and before she comes home, its between me and him.
If I didn't go home, I will be able to avoid him.
If I avoided him, there will be no quarrel.
Isn't that not the best solution?

I left the house once before.
I didn't want to come back till I had cooled down.
My mom... she searched for me throughout the night, her heart shattered. He, on the other hand, went to sleep.
I couldn't break my mom's heart again. I can't.
She and my sis are the only reasons to stay in this house.
One day, I will leave. Eventually. With my mom and my sis.
I shall be patient.

Just wait. For everything you are doing against me today. I shall remember them.

I just watched yet another intriguing documentary. This one is about the 1st lunar landing on the Moon in 1969(Apollo 11) where the USA supposedly landed 3 men on the Moon and subsequent Apollo missions. Note: I used the word ‘supposedly’.
Yes. This documentary debuts the fact that NASA landed people on the Moon in the mission Apollo 11 and questions whether men really landed on the moon. Whoa, you might say. How can that be? You mean we never did land on the moon?
Well, I can’t say anything for that. You could watch the video, but in the end, judge for yourself. Do you think men really landed on the moon in 1969?

There are much evidences provided in the documentary, titled “Did We Land on The Moon?” It was released by Fox TV in 2001.

The only evidences I am going to comment on are the photography evidences presented by the hoax theorists. Of course =]
You can catch the rest of the evidence if you watch this documentary. Its all quite intriguing.

One evidence proposed by the hoax theorists was that there were no stars in the photos which showed the space. I must say that light from stars are extremely weak and faint so it is highly unlikely that there will be much light from the stars captured in the photos. It’s the reason why the sun light up the Earth but the stars just twinkle. Given the circumstances they were in, its pretty reasonable that there were no stars seen in the photo.

But here comes the other evidences. There were some situations where the astronauts were standing in the shadow of the space shuttle, yet they were not in shadow. That is, the astronauts were lit while standing in a shadow, as if there was a spotlight on them. Unless Physics doesn’t work the same way on the Moon, I would say that this is virtually impossible. Its like standing in the shade, brightly lit with no other light sources.

Another evidence was that the features of the subjects were not thrown into shadow even though the light source was a backlight. Every detail of the subject from the front view was clear, bright and distinct, although it was a backlight shining on them(supposedly the Sun). There was no other light source, so how can they be so well lighted up?
One can argue that the exposure was compensated for by the camera and thus the subjects were brightened up. But look, we are talking 1960s technology here.
Even if that was the case, the details of all the other parts of the photo would have been completely whitewashed. Yet, the other parts of the photo looked normal. Questionable, huh?

The last evidence I will comment about are on the shadows of the astronauts while they were on the Moon.
The shadows were in different directions and different lengths, suggesting that there could have been more than one light source, and that would not be possible, since the only light source is the Sun.
Let’s correct that statement. It is possible for shadows to be in different directions with only one light source, provided that the light source was very close, like as close as props to a lamp, which is the light source, in a studio.

Other than that, the shadows of objects would be in nearly the same direction for a distant light source, like how our own shadows are all cast in the same direction when the Sun is shining down on us. But in the documentary, the shadows were nearly perpendicular to each other. We are talking perpendicular here. That can be explained either by that the whole moon landing was done in a studio, or the Sun was next to them.

Nasa argued that the cause for the different lengths in the shadow was due to the different height levels that the astronauts were standing on. True, different height levels will result in different shadow lengths. But for a distant light source, the difference is less obvious while for a close-up light source, the difference is pretty obvious. In NASA’s own videos and photos, the astronauts were standing about 20 or 30cm difference in height with a very prominent difference in their shadow lengths. Other than that, the height level theory cannot explain the difference in the direction of the shadows. You can try it out at home if you doubt this. Try holding a torchlight or lamp and shine it at objects from far away and from close-up. Observe the shadows. Place your subjects at different heights. Try different distances. You will get what I mean.

That’s about it then. If you are interested in watching this video, I do have a copy of the video. Its 437mb so I won’t be sending it to anyone through e-mail or over Msn. If you want it, just pass me a thumbdrive or a CD-R and I can give you a copy. Otherwise, its available on Google Video, but much lower resolution. The title of this documentary is “Did We Land on The Moon?”

So, did we?

One point to note:
I know that recently many of us have been having problems blogging because our blogger dashboard and "Create Post" section has gone haywire. Other than that, an error message keeps appearing all the time such that we can't do a thing. I have been having that problem too.

Solution: On your url bar, change www.blogger.com to www2.blogger.com. It will solve the problem. That's all then =))

Went for my NS medical screening today. The only incentive was that I get to miss Friday lessons.
I met up with Zkai and we took a bus down to somewhere near qngwn's house to eat prata.
I ate a cheese prata which I couldn't taste the cheese.
And a plain prata which was well.. plain.
And my fav Milo+Coffee.
And nope. They don't have pok curry =P

After that was a trip over to qngwn's house and a ride in his dad's car down to the Central Manpower Base(CMPB). I only remember it was a very long trip. When I woke up, we were already inside the base and entering the carpark. Whoa. Did I sleep for so long?

The peeps at the CPMB are generally quite friendly people. We were directed to start off with taking our passport photograph. I remember the guy behind us was told to look to the right cos his face was a bit tilted. He twisted his head 90° and caused me to burst out laughing =X
Lol. That wasn't intentional. But the army guy working there didn't make it better. He started saying how only prison inmates took photos while looking perpendicular to the camera. And that it was a passport photo. Noone looks right while taking a passport photo. Lol.
Oh and their passport photo taking equipment is pretty cool. The photo goes directly into the computer and the preview screen is on the computer screen. Quite useful for passport phototaking to me. The photo is auto cropped in the computer and the cropped area is shown before the photo is even taken. The camera is not even a DSLR. Lol.

Straight after that was the blood test station. But before that, the guy at the blood test station told us to take this tab, go into the toilet and urinate on it to check our urine status. After that, we were supposed to show it to him. It was quite funny. Cos the 3 of us stood there for a while wondering what to do. We were told to get moving into the toilet =/

So after that he took this tool thingy and punctured a hole in my finger where he extracted some blood to test something which I got no idea what he was testing. All I can tell was that he was seperating the different components in the blood.
After getting a hole made in my finger, we went on to get a hole made in our arm. Another medical officer took this needle, poked it into my vein and started drawing blood. The ironic thing is that, comparing a thick needle stuck in your arm and a thinner one which poked your finger for 0.5 seconds, I would say the latter hurted more. The needle in the vein? Didnt feel a thing. I didn't even know he had already started drawing blood and was nearly done when he did.
Anyways. He told me he could draw out one more tube for me to bring home as a souvenir. But he didn't have the time for it. Aw man.
Qngwn was just the best. The doc couldn't dig enough blood out of his right vein due to excess er.. substance blocking the way, so he started poking around his left vein. In the end, after much poking, the doctor managed to draw a tube out. Lol. poor qngwn. Zkai's one was fast. The doc said his vein was 'nice and juicy'. Poke. And tt was it.

Hmm. After the blood test was the dental checkup. I was commenting whether we had brushed our teeth while this medical guy walked past us. He said: Its ok. As long as your breath doesnt smell.
Then he walked into the dental room. Lols.

X-Ray was after that.
The guy who examined us looked like Dennis Leong and sounded like Edwin Heng.
He was so funny we couldn't stop laughing lol.
Nothing much about X-Ray anyway. All you gotta do is hug the machine while it photographs your insides =)

Next was Eye check. I don't have to say much about this.
"Read the letters on the 4th line."
"O E G B H".
That's all. Thanks. You can move on.
We have done this since Primary 1.

After that was the Hearing test.
they will close you inside a soundproof room and you have to put on these headphones.
Then they will play different pitches to determine your hearing range.
The soundproof room was deathly quiet.
And the beep from the headphones were super quiet too.
I thought I heard something at first.
Then I realised that was the first beep.
You gotta raise your left hand if u hear a beep in e left and vice versa.
I wonder what will happen if you start raising randomly and waving. The guy might just kick you out =]

Did I miss anything out? Next was the official medical screening. The people in there were real medical officers(the ones outside were low rank NSmen). Those medical officers in there? Lowest rank was about 2LT. And that's a pretty decent officer. But they aren't as nice peeps.
The first one started with: "Read the instructions. Then carry on."
Doh.

ECG came 1st. Electrocardio something. Basically this thing where you lie on a bed and they plug funny equipment and stuffs onto you and measure your heart beat. Its my 3rd time doing it. I did ECG twice last year cos of my chest pains to the left.

Then it was the consultation with the medical officer. Mine had these 3 bars on his shoulder. Captain. Well. Most people have probably heard or knows wad happens in here so I shan't have to elaborate. Basically check your back for problems. Den cough =).

The last station was the most horrible and worst station ever. Its brain-draining, ridiculous and ultimately stupid. It was. An IQ test. It took horrendously long. About nearly 2 hours.
God. I couldn't believe the number of tests I had to do on that computer. It was one after the other.
They tested number patterns, Physics, shapes, perspectives, Maths, English, memory work, understanding, perception, reaction speed, and ended off with a survey. Oh man. Those tests were about 15 minutes each. And I think I might have missed some out. Cos there were just too many.
I can't imagine which person came up with something like this. You can just plainly fall asleep.
I felt like I was doing an exam. And the thing is that the questions were totally placed to test IQ. That is so not easy. And a lot of questions are plain stupid.
Zzz. What a waste of time.

We ate fish and chips at this coffeeshop whose featured dish was fish and chips.
Nothing special. Average only.
Amazingly, there was bus 57 there.
Took it and arrived at City Hall after about 20 minutes, thus proving how far the CMPB is. We even passed by Harbourfront and Vivo.
Took the MRT back to AJ from City Hall.
I still had PS. Rah.
I should have gone home to sleep instead.

Oh btw. I got PES A for my medical screening.
Good or bad? I will leave it up to the unknowns.
Personally, I think its good. But many people are fighting for PES E. Lol.
Its up to one’s opinion I guess.

People have been looking like zombies lately. With all the exams coming up and unknown stress coming from nowhere, no doubt we are getting less sleep.
Jeez. I am a solid example =]
Been sleeping through the last few days of lectures. Well, I do try to stay awake but I can't help it. My body has overpowered my struggling mind.

I am amazed I actually slept during Econs lecture today. Cos of all people, Mrs Low was sitting 2 seats away to my left. It was an empty seat in between. And I slept. Lol I got a tap halfway through dreamland from her. But it didn't go anywhere beyond that. I guess sleeping students are the norm nowadays anyway.

I am still super tired after sleeping through Physics(both tutorial and lecture) and in Econs.
Hais. Been losing track of what the lectures are doing. I am aiming to sleep by 12:30am tonight.

To all the other zombies out there: Sleep early. Many of you look worse than me =]

Oh my. I just came across the most amazing personality test ever.
Taken from Poh Sin's blog, its a test that is based on colors alone. The person who came up with it had researched and proven that colours do affect us and our mood.
This test is deadly accurate in some parts. Do try it out(chef recommendation!!!)(Most popular dish!!!)
Ok. that didn't make sense.
Anyways. Here's the link: http://www.paulgoldin.com/colorgenics.htm

And my personal profile is as follows:

Accurate statements are highlighted in bold. The rest are subjective cos I have no comments for them.

You are seeking an affectionate relationship, offering fulfilment and happiness. You are capable of powerful emotional enthusiasm. Deep down, you are a kind loving person, always helpful and willing to adapt yourself if necessary to realise the bond of affection that you desire. But you need the same consideration and understanding from others and it is this need that will sometimes hold you back... so let go, trust and you may pleasantly surprised at what happens.

You are a leader in every sense of the word. You know where you are going and you know what you need to do in order to get there. You exercise an inherent initiative in overcoming obstacles and difficulties. You either hold, or wish to achieve, a position of authority by means of which full control can be exerted over events.

Conditions are rather confusing at this time. You would like to involved with a particular person or a particular situation but you are holding back. You find it difficult to make a decision.

You are holding back. You need to find friends in whom you can trust and once they have proved themselves beyond all possible doubt you will be prepared to give them your all. The existing situation is not of your liking - you have an unsatisfied need for mental stimulation with others whose standards are as high as your own. Trying to control your instincts the way you do restricts your ability to open up to others and the way you feel at this time is suggestive of 'total surrender'. This is not to your liking as you consider such thoughts as weaknesses that need to be overcome. You feel that only by control, controlling your innermost thoughts, are you able to maintain your air of superiority. You want to be admired for yourself alone and not for what you can do or for what you may have done. In essence 'you need to be needed' and at the same time 'you need to need'.

You would like to be respected and valued for yourself and this can only be achieved from within a close and harmonious relationship.

As you can see, this test is indeed deadly accurate. I nearly highlighted the whole thing lol. Do try it out. You will be surprised.

I just read a newspaper article today on the education life on children today.
One thing I must say: kids nowadays really have no life.
Their parents really deprive them of it.

One classical example was of a Primary three student who had been going to tuition since Primary ONE. His tuition is in fact on a DAILY basis before/after school hours and as a result, he has 9 hours of school each day.

Helloooo. He's only Primary 1~3. How hard can the syllabus get such that a student needs to undergo 9 hours of school each day?
Seriously, what's wrong with parents nowadays?
Although the syllabus for Primary School today is far from what it was during my time, I don't think they are doing as far as quadratic equations right?
Goodness, I didn't even have to do 6 hours everyday for Secondary School.
And they are doing 9 hours a day for Primary School.

What a sad, sad life the young students are living nowadays.
I wonder upon the day when they grow up and realise that they had no childhood playtime.
Cos at the age of 6, they were learning the piano.
At the age of 7, they started on the violin.
By 8, they already had more certificates than they had toys.
Guess what. Most of these certificates have not much value except for decoration and scrap paper.
So why push their kids so hard?

I don't know if it is the stress posed by society today that is to blame or it is the parents to blame or whether it is a mixture of both factors.
But the bottom line is, kids nowadays have NO life.

Has anyone heard about the moon conspiracy? People are actually questioning whether Man really landed on the Moon 40 years ago. The critics said that it was actually a staged performance held in a studio and in actual fact, the U.S never did land people on the moon. This documentary was published in 2001. Its titled "Did we really land on the moon?"
Find out more if you are interested ;)

This just gave me a new definition of truth.

Truth is what is being projected to an audience and what is being accepted by the receiving audience as reality.
It is actuality in the eyes of the beholder.

Next time anyone argues with you over the truth of a matter, tell him/her that:
Since we cannot come to a consensus over this matter, and the truth of this matter cannot be defined by a unified perspective, let us cease the dispute and let nature take its course.

Whaddat? =)
Oh. I want to study Psychology. Just a thought.

I got scammed by some stupid cab driver today that took us on a detour round and round. Grrr. And it was so obvious.

I cabbed down to Buona Vista today to collect the sponsership items with 3 J1s.
Lol. It was quite funny when I met their promotions executive to collect the items.
He said:
Did you all come with something to bring the 400 magazines out?
Nope.
What did you all come in?
A cab.
Didn't you all try to get some form of transport? Its 400 magazines.
Yea. Tried. But I guess we will work things out.

And we did underestimate the power of 400 magazines. We borrowed a trolley from him and wheeled it all out.
After that we waited for a cab. We waited and waited. Turns out the only cabs that enter industrial estates are only those on call or those already hired.
So we booked a cab.
And the cab came. And we loaded everything onto the cab. And the cab went back to AJ.
And the cab fare was so omgarghsoexpensivedarnit
Then I realised something on the cab reciepts.
Omg la. The cab driver which brought us back had totally no integrity.
The receipts stated:
Distance travelled(on trip towards there) -->13.3km
Distance travelled(on trip back to AJ) ---> 17.2km

What the. The second driver travelled an extra 3.9km to go back to AJ?
That means the driver purposely took an extra detour la.
How can it be that there's a difference of 3.9km? That's a lot leh.
Tmd. Kanna scammed liao. Btw. The difference in cab fare was a whooping $10.
Of cos, the trip back cost $10 more. Zzz. Totally scammed.
I got the cab driver's license plate. Muhahaha. Blacklist him XD

Today's Maths test was ultimately horrible.
Sigh. I disappointed myself rather badly.
Experienced a blankout during the test: the first time i ever did.
I was so extremely disappointed at myself.

Mom urged me to go visit the doc so i can be treated soon.. cos its supposedly affecting my performance. (The doc said I was suffering from stress symptoms and needed to be treated the last time i went)
Hahs. And 2 teachers already asked me if I needed counselling.
Is there really something wrong with me? =/

Ok maybe there is. I don't know.
I am trying my best to cope.
But I m turning into a psychological disaster.
Muhahaha. I will be joining Mr L** in his IMH cell soon.
Ok. That wasn't funny.
But I guess some things are just like that.
Don't avoid me cos I am supposedly losing my sanity k?
I need the support from my frens. Especially now. It will help me greatly.
Let's help one another survive this year.

On another note, I found out that some people out there really have nothing to do.
I was searching for a virus scanner to get rid of all the viruses in all the technical equipment in PS.
Came across a particular one that I used before. It was quite useful then. But I removed it cos it lagged my com like shit.
I tried it out again. No lag.
And its definitely better than Norton.
Cos my 1st scan revealed like 2000 infections.
Norton must be sleeping.
But then again, different scanners search for different signatures.
So we can't blame Norton.
I am thinking of converting to Mcafee after my current Norton subscription ends.
Have to think about it.
Cos Norton is really quite terrible. And my new Norton subscription started only er.. 3 days ago. That means a year more till it ends.

Anyways. Talking about people who have nothing better to do, the scanner detected this adware which hijacks the IE default search bar. And I have never been able to remove it though I don't understand why. Now I know. The description of the adware, CnsMin was as follows:

"CnsMin is another keyword-lookup provider that takes over the search feature of IE's address bar. It is aimed at providing keywords using Chinese characters.

Other than replacing the IE search feature with a Chinese site likely to be incomprehensible to non-Chinese users, CnsMin is not overly harmful, but it uses extremely anti-social methods to make it difficult to uninstall. Is installed by ActiveX drive-by-download at its company's site, 3721.com. Has also apparently been included in junk e-mail, which could be how some Western users have ended up with it."

So what does 'extremely anti-social methods to make it difficult to uninstall' means?

I found out. The stupid program installed itself into about 1200 locations in my computer. Thus, difficult to uninstall. What the la. If the scanner doesn't locate one in 1200 locations.. the thing wouldn't have been uninstalled.
So isn't the person who programmed it super bo liao?

Oh yea. Another thing I don't like about Norton is the weird way it works.
It detected this virus earlier on. Then the action taken was 'partially removed'.
That doesn't really make sense.
Imagine going to the doc with a broken arm. The doc bandages half your arm and declares you as partially healed. That.. doesn't make sense.
So much for Norton. There's probably reasons for it. But I can't be bothered.

Griffie: That's why I said the truth was subjective. Its ok. I still don't like Bush.

crys: Cannot entirely say so. we can't deny that all the evidence are false. After all, its true that Americans hold all the records for shooting their own people the most.

pak: Lol. That was quite long ago. It was a great match. Thanks for dropping by. Tc.
