That’s it. That’s the end. Thank you so much for coming on this journey with me. When the idea of Lunar Maladies came to me back in 2012 or 2013 I could never have imagined it would turn into the longest comic I’d ever work on. I drew LM between the end of 2015 & 2019, and have been posting it online since 2016. I thought it was going to be 200 pages, and somehow it ended up double that. This comic saw me through so many life changes. I started drawing it right after graduating from university. It saw me move apartments. It saw me through new love, and then heart break. It saw me through multiple job changes. The pages travelled with me on vacation. And I’m certain I wouldn’t be where I am career-wise without it.

I’ve got mixed feelings about saying goodbye to the kids of Lunar Maladies. It’s always a relief to finish a big project, but also a little melancholy. Trinity, Mal, and Kat have lived in my head for so long & I’m so grateful to be able to share them with you. Whether you’ve been reading since the beginning or have only started recently, thank you. It means the world to me that you’d want to read this comic I started on a whim when I was just a kid with a dream.

I hope you’ll find me elsewhere, if you’d like to stay up to date with my future projects. I just had a book come out in the fall, and I’ve got two more slated for the next few years. And of course, I’m always working away on little personal projects. I’m @kagcomix on twitter & instagram.

Thank you for reading. I hope our paths will cross again.
