Catch Up

This is mostly for my brother who is on my case about never posting. . .

Again, I don't have many pictures. . I just don't think to take them!

Lots going on. . lets see. .

SADIE made the Freshman v-ball team and is playing middle. She is waking up at 5 every morning (as am I, ughhh) to go to seminary before school. She is in Honors classes and hopefully doing well??? (don't really know yet), and then either has practice or a game everyday. I worry about her getting enough sleep!

LEXIE just turned 13 & has finally caught me in height! I can barely admit it. I'm sure she'll be taller than me in a month or so. She is in her last year at the middle school and likes the fact that neither her brother or sister is at her school this year. She is playing soccer again after YEARS of gymnastics. She was worried she wouldn't remember how to play that well and she is one of the best 2 or 3 on the team. Sat she scored the only goal (she's aggressive, I know, shocker) and last sat. she got the only yellow card. . . (again, shocking)

COOPER is in his last year at the elementary school. . (sigh from mom). His hair is as long as mine at the moment and he is playing soccer too. He is an awesome player, he is incredible at center mid and is the bees knees in goal. (yes, I really did just say that. It's in one of Eminems songs and it comes to mind every now and then, get over it!) He is wonderful in so many ways. He also is typical boy in so many ways. . how do you take your clothes off and just leave them on the floor, . . where you took them off, . . and walk away. . . I just don't get it.

Ben and I went to Maui the end of June and are headed again the end of October. Why not? Oct.'s weekends are busy. . Ben's is heading back east to a Rutgers football game with his High School buddy next weekend, then we are in L.A for a few days, then I have a race, then we go to Maui. Bens busy at work and I'm busy at home and driving kids all over. . the usual. Oh, and helping coach Coops soccer team, I haven't done soccer for a while and I'm loving it.

Do you think Shockey likes this? Sade with some free time the end of summer!

Beg. of summer . .

I had to download some pictures for something and came across a few I thought I'd throw up on the 'ol blog.

Girls have been out of school for a bit and this week they are @ gymnastics camp @ BYU. Coop is in and out of school (track breaks, vacation breaks . . . it's really lame).

Coop and his cousin Wyatt @ BYU soccer camp. When I picked them up they were filthy (hadn't showered all week) but they had TONS of FUN!

And of course, there were big trees around so I come across this as I'm downloading the pictures from the camera . . . Lex in a tree. She is my tree climber!

Last Day . . .

I picked up the girls from school today on their last day of this school year. Sade is now done at Canarelli Middle School and will start H.S. in the fall -- (I know . . I KNOW!) When she got in the car the conversation went something like this:

me-- "SAAAADE, can you believe your done at this school!? How do you feel? Are you going to miss it a little?"

Sade-- "NO! I say, 'GOOD RIDDANCE!'"

She is SOOOOO SWEET. I love her to death. I can't believe she will start H.S. in the fall.

These are a few old shots of my oldest baby . . . .

New York

I went to New York last weekend with three great friends of mine and had a fabulous time. How can you not have a great time when you are in great company in a great city? We saw plays, saw the sights, went to the MET, ate too much delicious food, laughed a lot, and enjoyed it. Here are a couple pictures from my friends camera, thanks Kel!

Alive and Well

I haven't posted forever. Just got out of the habit of looking at blogs! We've been busy, I know-- weird, right? I know everyone is busy, I guess I just dropped the blogging for a while. And I haven't been taking pictures either! I took a few when we went to Az. a few weeks ago, right before Easter. But--we are all alive and well. Here are a few pictures to prove it.

Mushrooms?

So here's a question for all of you out there (well, the handful that look at my blog!) CAN MUSHROOMS GROW ON CARPET?

Why, you ask, am I asking you that? Oh, let me tell you: Apparently the house we own in Idaho has a leak downstairs, in the "utility" room. And the guy who goes over to check it out from the plumbing company tells me, (like an after thought) "Oh, and you've got some mushrooms." . . . excuse me? "Yeah, 'bout 20 or 30 of 'em on your carpet, big brown things." . . . at this point I don't even know what to say, I literally can't form questions from my brain about what I've just heard. I'm sorry, I thought you just said there are mushrooms -----in the house, -----growing on the carpet, -----in my house . . . . I'm sorry, WHAT!?

You've got to be kidding me. Seriously, unbelievable. This is super.

So yes. The answer, unfortunately, is yes. I might vomit.
