First UK Christmas in London!!

Hey ya hey ya!!

Went through lotsa trains & steps in London today..!! rocks rocks!! a bit tired, but most of it were of fun!!

It's still 24th here in UK and I'm right now in London - at Gabbie's. :D

Had quite a long day today.. had been travelling a lot! really cool... Got to London Euston and met Gabbie there. She took me over for a drink with some of her high school friends. Her friends were really funny. haha.. had lotsa love with their joke. :D

Now, I'm in her house blogging and WATCHING TV!!! hahaha.. It's been 3 months since I last watched a TV !! :D Oh yea, before the night ends, I'm going to what they call the midnight mass with Gabbie later at 11.30pm. hehehe.. looking forward!

For now, Merry Christmas everyone! I'll blog more soon.

I just got back from SEEDs retreat!! :D

Date: 18th - 20th Dec 2009
Venue: St Swithin's House, Barston.

The retreat in a whole was really reflective, really fun! Bondings get better through this retreat! It was superb worth going! XD Pictures will be posted up asap! Stay tune!

I'm done with my dissertation proposal!! finally!!!!

Now, I can officially shoutout: " HELLO VACATION!!!"

Owh great! The office close today. No direct submission.

We had to hand in our proposal here instead.

2 days down and I'll be officially free for Christmas & New Year...

For now, I'm still working on my dissertation proposal.. submission due: 16.12.2009 *zzzz*.. sleepless nights, early wakes.

Water Baptism

On the 13th December 2009, I witnessed my first water baptism ceremony in my church at Birmingham~! :) whoa.. :)

It was a great experience. :) Congrats, David (I think that's his name) and Esther, for being baptize.

I had been neglecting the beauty of nature these days, so much so of dissertation proposal. Well, it almost went the same for today. I was reading some journal articles in my room (as usual) until some sort of ray hit the edge of my eyes. Immediately, I looked out my window and guess what I saw.. *ta-da*

The sunset ray's really beautiful, isn't it? :) 

The beauty of nature. Indescribable. ~♥

which subsequently reminds me of God's love for us all - Indescribable yet beautiful. :)

Got my lights changed

Hi ya!! I've finally got my dimmed yellow light changed after several request to the halls!! :D

From This (L) to this (R)..

It'd been dimmed throughout my days.. They call it "Good for your eyes" Duhh! As though my eyes would do better with such dimmed light! LOL.. Woohoo!! with the new bright yellow light, my eyesight will survive this winter! :D

Got this quote from Emmanuel's blog in which I find it really meaningful. The decision to believe that God doesn't exist, leads atheist to overburden themselves with unnecessary burdens, unnecessary failures... etc. When things turn out great, besides human, do they have anyone greater to thank, like God?

There's only one reason for you to reject the belief of God's existence - Lack of faith. "I've not seen it, and hence, I will not believe the existence." My dear friend, "why do you believe the existence of wind?"

This quote kinda' reminds me of a few friends. They place trust in themselves so much that they believe things are in their control  - The way how things turn out to be, the way things are supposed to be... Often always, unnecessary, when you have a better one to rely on, God.

My friend, you can't control life and death. Where are you heading to after death? Do you often worry about death? Well, I might offend you a lot, but I don't. 

I'll leave that thought to you.

According to Ming, my CG leader, it's a tradition here that when winter's approaching, we have HOTPOT(s) !! Today was it.. It was great I think! XD "Hotpot in such cold weather makes it a Jackpot!!" I'm sure everyone had lotsa fun eating it hot, really hot!! :D
