Christmas in the Snow

This Christmas, we've enjoyed spending time with Matt's family in IL. Miss Lydia has enjoyed her Grandma and Grandpa and even got to play in the snow. Here are a few pictures of Lydia playing with her cousins in the snow.

They played on the deck in the snow. She ran up and down the deck, yelling, "running, running". She is talking so much more lately - it is such a joy to listen to her talk....in the store the other day, I called for Matt and she proceeded to call, "Matt, Matt" :)

Last year for Christmas, Lydia got a pair of princess snow boots. Unfortunately, she was not able to wear them since we didn't have any snow. So, this year, we pulled out the boots to see if they would fit for our trip to IL over Christmas. Living in Texas, Lydia clearly doesn't understand the purpose of her new boots. The way she walks indicates she thinks she's on a moon walk :)

Christmas 2009

Yesterday, we decided to have our family pictures done. Our first choice for location was the Arboretum, but it was rainy and cold. So, we headed to the church for our pictures. One of the parents from school is a semi-professional photographer - she took all of the pictures.
