i've gotten together with a group of kiddos 14 year olds to participate in the High School Musical Inter-school Dance competition. *gasps for air*

the silly thing, i find is that we must register under our school name.

not sure bout Pn Roza allowing us to participate in this event coz well .. she didn't allow us chinese female bball players to wear knee length shorts i repeat knee length shorts and we wore our long tracksuits instead, under the 12 afternoon heat.

• i know they can dance
• i've got almost a quarter choreography done
• costumes are half-way settled

i'm scared la that i'm paying too much attention on this thingy instead of my trials; next week. 've been spending most of my time squeezing my dry brain for more choreography and worrying on whether we'll get to memorize them all in time.

form3 students who are in this like ME and two to three others have only one week to practice the routine. daaaamn.

you prolly hate me now coz i don't visit you as often ( like, everyday often ) like i used to. mummy's got PMR in 79 days and you know i'm not much of a studyworm so i must must must! try my ultimatum best to fit in with the nerd-world for these next two-and-a-not-so-half-to-me months and after that, i'll shower you with endless love like i always did. =)

i don't study like everyone does.

i sleep in class almost everyday.
i let my mood take over me 99.9% of the time.
i don't have good moods, 90% of the time.
i waste time.

am currently in the school's library on the Internet.

who knew right? xD

i went out for dinner along the streets of Petaling Street yesterday.
i arrived at my destination; a dirty roadside restaurant in the narrow between two blocks.
to my surprise, there were so many tables occupied and there was this one table of some Chinese guy who had some white people with him.

aka tourists.
i overheard their conversation. xD

a few tables away from mine, was a rather nice looking guy with his guitar.
he looked like he was in his early twenties.
his clothes look like they haven't been washed for quite a while.
his hair looked like it needed grooming.

to my surprise,
he was bubbly and smiley.
he had a little black pouch half-filled with money put on the dirty ground next to him.
he continously played different songs to the strums of his guitar.
he never stopped smiling.

it was hard to take my eyes of him.
he just made me smile.

my daddy decided to give him money. he took out 10 dollars from his wallet and willingly gave it to the man. his smile broadened. as my daddy sat back down, a little girl from another table gave him 10 dollars. when she sat back down, a young man gave him a few dollars. not long after, my sister said someone gave him 50 dollars.

after halfway through my dinner, he looked at me.
he gave out a smile and left.
my smile turned into a small grin.
i wanted him to stay longer.
i wanted to know his name.
i wanted to help him more.
i wanted to continue listening to the strums of his shabby worn-down guitar.

i looked at the young man who was still seated at his table who previously gave money to the beggar too and he gave me a smile. i smiled back, turned back to my food and satisfyingly finish my dinner.

it is amazing how one little detail that is usually never noticed mean something so big.
it is amazing how one person can spread a smile like a virus.
it is amazing how such a little thing can give someone so much inspiration and hope.
it is amazing to know that sometimes, the world is not always evil.
it is amazing to know that there are people out there who go through more than you, can still come up with a smile as though life is meant to be that way.

so, to whoever thats currently stalking reading my blog ..
i hope you get the message that i'm trying to pass through this small incident that just occured to me. whatever that you're facing in life, i may not know but do use the opportunity to smile because life is never a bed of roses and these are just the challenges that you're facing along your walk of life. from everything you face, there is definitely something lost yet something gained, like the phrase that every cloud has its silver lining. build a wall of courage and above everyting else, guard that heart of yours.
