All I wanted to do was pull some minis out of a box, glue to a base, and pack them for the road. two plus days later and I am out of time and still at it.
Today we have a 3D print factory, dracominiatures on Etsy. The order was placed Oct 13th. I had to reach out 3 times. Each time I earned a different production date or ship date. All dock dates were missed. They magically showed up 2 days ago.
All the minis were tossed in newspaper like a road side Scottish Fish & Chips place out on the cobbles. No bubble wrap. Not even in a plastic bag.
The prints are resin. dracominiatures failed to completely clean/cure them. Danger, danger right? No we are lucky. Why? Because this Mofo never removed the supports. Which is most likely why they survived shipping. That and not being fully cured the flexibility was greater.
Every other print factory sends supports removed. You get a special note on how to remove them without destroying your new toys. Nothing about wearing gloves or safety!
Y'all know me. I print my own shit when I am home. I order a metric cubic ass load of minis every year in all scales. 99.9% of the time minis show up clean, cured, in bags with a label.
Not with this clown. I get to spend 2 days cleaning, curing, and removing supports. What if I was a dude with no print experience. That person would not know by smell or touch they were uncured. They would not have gloved up. They would not have the means to cure the little fuckers. And I bet stuck their finger in their eye or mouth with a proper cleaning of their hands. Nor would they clean up the area fully. No one wants a dead dog or baby cause that fucker ate uncured resin. What did I get? African pirates, Cartel biker gangs, Cartel dealers and enforcers, Sheriffs, High Risk contractors, over watch, and Russian heavy assault dudes. oh and Mexican federal police with trucks!!!
