We're back! Well, not really. I mean, like, don't PLAN on me keeping all of you informed ALL the time, but I mean to be better than I have been. I think. I hope.
Okay, back to the title! Can you guess where we went? If you guessed any where but Niagara Falls you're WRONG (and probably really embarrassed with yourself).
Over our 10 year wedding anniversary we packed the offspring up and headed to NF (I'm getting a little sick of spelling it). It's only 4 hours from Pittsburgh, oddly enough, MOST everything is under 6 hour car travel time to get to (i.e. New York, Philadelphia, NF, Ohio, Washington DC, Blah, blah, blah).
It was a blast. We went to Bridal Veil Falls (Cave of the Winds) first and got to walk around Hurricane deck. It feels just like a mini hurricane down below the falls (hence the name *wink*). We got to see/hear what 75,000 gallons per SECOND sounds like from below. It's loud, windy and very wet.

On another note-Indian food. Did you know that when Indians come to America to visit it's like, a MUST to see the Falls, thus you'll find 1,231,694.45 Indian restaurants. No joke. Maybe a slight exaggeration, but honestly, you'd be hard pressed to find a burger or pizza joint in that town.
Lastly, the Indian people. I. Love. Them. Especially this older gentleman (and his entire family) sat down next to me on the bench. I mean, RIGHT next to me. Thigh touching thigh close. I made Mac take a picture when he put his arm around me, but the guy spooked and got up and switched places with family?

| As soon as the camera pointed his way...he was outta there!! I tried to lean into him... |
And lastly, we were fortunate enough to have been present for the Blues Festival! It was great. Especially the fried dough. The kids played in the fountains and Mac and I relaxed and listened to the music. What a great anniversary.

| Baba Dil!! She's almost walking, but man, people were stopping to take her picture when she got wet. I guess letting your one year old play in the fountains is amusing. |
