Wedding & Reception
Kevin and Melissa's wedding was beautiful! In one of these pictures you can see Tate occupied with my phone, but that did not last long. As soon as he saw Nanny and Daddy Rick walk down the aisle, Torey had to run out of the church with him because he started to pitch a fit wanting his Nanny! Like I said in the last post, Madelyn did a wonderful job and her and the Megan, the other flower girl became such good friends over the weekend. The reception was lots of fun and you can see how worn out Madelyn was by the end of the night...she passed out in Nanny's arms.
Pretty Girl
Madelyn was in 2 weddings during the month of May! She was in Uncle Kevin's wedding on May 22nd and these were some pictures I took of her getting her hair and nails done. She did a great job and was beautiful in both weddings! More pictures to come from the weddings.
1st Haircut
Daddy and Papa took Tate for his first haircut last week at Jr.'s Barbershop. They said he did great and sat in the chair like a big boy and did not move. Torey said he did poke out his bottom lip and acted like he was going to cry, but never really did. My baby boy is growing up so fast and is starting to look more like a little boy instead of a baby.
Such a good big sister
I walked in the play room not long ago and caught Madelyn being sweet to her brother and reading him a book! I grabbed my camera and captured the moment!
Ribs & Corn on the cob
Tate has always loved to eat and until recently would not turn down anything. He is now starting to get a little picky and has started making it known that he will NOT eat certain things...needless to say, ribs and corn on the cob are definitely on his list of foods he likes!
Tate & Sarah
Tate loves babies and just wants to kiss them all! We were at the lake this weekend and he could not get enough of Sarah.
We're Back!
I have not been blogging lately because we have been so busy this summer playing and having fun! I quit my job at the end of May and I have enjoyed spending so much quality time with my kids. We have been spending our summer going to the lake, river, Alabama Adventure and Six Flags. Staying at home is the most challenging job I have ever done, but it is DEFINITELY the most rewarding job possible!

Praying for Jamie

Please remember a friend of mine, Jamie Layton Cagle and her family in your prayers. She has a wonderful husband Brandon and two sweet, beautiful girls Erin and Emily. Jamie was recently diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of cancer called small cell neuroendocrine. The cancer is contained to the pelvic area and has not spread to any other areas. She will start chemo on April 19th. The prognosis is not good, but Jamie is going to fight this with everything she has in her and will not give up! With so many people praying for her, she is sure to win the battle. You can visit her Caringbridge site HERE. If you are on facebook, join the group Praying for Jamie Layton Cagle.

Poor Baby
My sweet little man has been cutting teeth and has not been feeling well for the last several days. I have seen these pitiful faces all weekend and it breaks my heart to know he is in pain.
