ZuZu

Image

ZuZu and I were seatmates on a flight from Rome to Rabat several months ago.  We became chummy quite quickly, and so of course we exchanged pleasantries and eventually contact information. He promised to contact us when he returned from his home in Tunisia to his family establishment south of Rabat.  Imagine our delight when he made good on that! We LOVED our time in his home!!

Fez- Kayleen and Nan

Fez is a beautiful train ride and day trip from us.  We met a tour agent on the train who hooked us up for the day.

The guide took us way up above the city to this stunning cemetery.

I must have been a Bedouin desert nomad in another life because these rugs speak to me on a deep level.  This one probably costs about what a car does.
