Suppa club

Kimberly read a book that talked about gathering four couples to meet once a month to enjoy supper together. It is seriously the best night of each month! One couple hosts each month and they provide EVERYTHING. Except each couple bring a bottle of wine. We each go all out. Matt and I hosted January.

Our meal consisted of :

Appetizer-homemade pizza with goat cheese spread, carmelized onions, toasted pine nuts, and arugula

Salad- chopped spinach with figs, red onion, pecorino romano, and a homemade balsamic dressing

Main course- filets with asparagus, filled loaded baked potatoes, and homemade rolls

Dessert- homemade chocolate lava lake with vanilla bean ice cream

It was such a great night with yummy food, tasty wine, and the best conversations. Josh, Holly, Michael, Julie, kimberly, and Chris are our people! We love doing life with them once a month!

Snow day!

It snowed in Georgia on Friday night so we decided to have a snow party! We ended it with sledding down the hill late night. The next morning we enjoyed sledding with the neighbors and then hanging in their hot tubs! Since it doesn't snow here often, we definitely love to live it up!!

Tulsa Christmas!

New Years Eve!

We spent New Year's Eve at the lake house again for the third year in a row. It was such s funniest filled with homemade spaghetti, lots of games, dance parties, and fireworks!!

Christmas 2016!

We spent Christmas Eve with my mom. We went to our church together and then made a large dinner together that night.
































The next morning we woke up around 7:30 to see that Santa had come! Poor Roman couldn't fall asleep because he was scared that Santa wouldn't come if he were awake and he was stressing himself out! It was magical to see Christmas this year through his seven year old eyes. The other two lived every minute also!!























Meema came and we all ate a breakfast casserole in between opening tons of gifts. Then we packed up and headed to the airport for Tulsa.

One last lake weekend!

We headed to Tulsa on Friday afternoon for one last weekend at the lake. We spent the night at Mark's house Friday and had pizza from Whole Foods. Such a fun night with the kids all together! Saturday after Will's soccer game, we headed to the lake. It was fabulous! Jimmy and Mindy were there with her sitter-in-law, Stephanie and family. It was a blast!

We were acknowledging what an amazing summer we have had while enjoying bacon wrapped goat cheese figs with. Glass of red vino and watching the sunset. So fun!

Sunday afternoon, the kids enjoyed a last trip to high lift for snacks. 

We are great food and enjoyed each other so much! I seriously love the lake house so much!
