The new coop needed a door

I wanted a sweet old fashioned screen door for the chicken coop. So Mike made me one. We put it on with a good lock.

We're starting a hen house

Kenny picked out his chick and named her Nephi

Kelly wore us down. She convinced us to get baby chickens that will become chickens. As they grow in a box in the house, we are preparing a chicken coop and run in our back yard. This will be an adventure.

Kelly took second place on beam! This was her first top five placing since doing highschool gymnastics.  She has really been working this skill. Congratulations Kelly!

Homecoming Parade

The children always look forward to this parade, it's always like a Halloween candy-fest.  This year did not disappoint. The banded sounded and looked great too.

After five o'clock, we had an idea to go to the park with the whole family (those that weren't working or in Texas.) So went to Cherry Creek State Park and played in the sand and water until the sun went down.
