Sprinkler Ball Fun

What could be more fun that a sprinkler and a ball...? A sprinkler ball! We have had a lot of fun with it this summer. At first William wasn't so sure about water coming AT him, but now he loves it. Friends Blair (15 months) and Charlie (3) came over today to join in the fun.

St. Simons Getaway

Mark's good buddy from UGA, Brad Shanks, got married last weekend on St. Simons Island, GA. We dropped off William in Augusta with Mark's parents and off we went for our weekend getaway! It was a lot of fun and we are so happy for the bride and groom! It was a loooong drive back home, but we were glad to have our family complete again with Mr. William-we missed him so much!

15 Months

William turned 15 months old on July 30th. The summer is flying by and he is changing so much each month! It's been so much fun. Words we understand are mama, dada, go, and uh-oh. But he just recently started this new little language, where he is quite talkative and sure of what he is saying, but we have no idea. We play along with and encourage the jibberish though--it's very cute and will only help develop those language skills! Favorite things to do include running through the house at full speed, drinking/gulping his beloved milk, throwing the baseball with Daddy, going for walks up and down the sidewalk, reading books (especially touch & feel ones), snapping his fingers, and dancing to music. And when I say dancing, I mean all out bending the knees, stomping his foot, and shaking his tail feather. I think he gets it honestly!
